NZ Drift Series Round 3 August 30
For Immediate Release
GAME ON – NZ DRIFT ROUND 3
On Sunday, August 30, the NZ Drift Series will descend on Taupo Motorsport Park for round three of the five-round 2009 series. Heading into the halfway point in the season, Dargaville’s Gaz Whiter has already established a commanding lead in the championship, thanks to round honours at the opening two rounds.
Keeping Gaz honest is Mad Mike, who scored a second and a third at the opening two rounds. And with three rounds left, there are still plenty of drivers who can step up to make a play for the championship. Gates will be open from 10am, and spectator entry is just $20. Keep checking www.nzdrift.co.nz for updates leading into the Taupo event on August 30.
