Update from Rhys Millen @ Pikes Peak

Posted on July 19, 2008 by jacob

Rhys Millen after Vegas Crash

Last time we saw Rhys Millen’s Red Bull Pontiac Solstice, it was being hauled away on a flat bed after he crashed while facing Toshiki Yoshioka in the Great 8. The team packed the car up into their hauler and headed straight to Pikes Peak, where they were looking to defend their class record in the notorious Hill Climb.

We have received an update from the Millen pit crew, informing us that the car has been repaired, and was running great in practice today, and spirits are high in the MIllen pit to defend their title. The actual competition is tomorrow, and as soon as we hear an update, we’ll be sure to pass it along on here.
