Round 3 of the HEL Performance Driftcup season at Rockingham Motor Speedway was one of the best custom layout that I have driven, it was fast and technical but very rewarding to drive if you nailed all of the clipping points.

Round 3 of 2018 HEL Performance Driftcup season saw us return to Rockingham Motor Speedway for the second time this year.

After breaking the car in our top 16 battle at Round 2 of Driftcup we had a little bit of work to do ahead of Round 3 at Rockingham. We replaced both the drive shafts that we snapped as well as the rear wheel bearing that exploded and slightly modified our custom rear hub set up to overcome the weak point we found which lead to us snapping the driveshaft. With that now all fixed it was the usual oil change, map check/tweak, bolt check and wheel alignment before we were finally ready!

Not long after the dust had settled from round 2, we quickly went to work fitting a new braking system featuring a custom twin caliper set up from SR Autobodies and custom HEL Performance braided brake lines which now run inside the car.
