Stephen Brooks dropped his “Showreel” this weekend, which touches on some of his works in and around the drifting circuits, & car shoots that he’s been attending. Stephen is a modern day visionary when it comes to filming drift, he has a knack for tapping into certain filming styles that we dont ordinarily see. We were lucky to have him at the Wall NJ event this summer with Gardella Racing, where he filmed what we would consider one of the most spectacular edits of 2011, “Drifting The Guantlet”

Thoughts and Drift Films from the UK
Hey guys, Ok first post here on everythingdrift but I thought I’d do a quick introduction as to who I am and what i can hopefully bring you guys in terms of smoke, tyres and drift on film !! … Ross Fairfield asked me if I’d like to contribute to everythingdrift .. I didn’t really need asking twice so here I am !! Ok so I’m based in Manchester in the UK, I’ve been in and around the drift and modified car scene here for around 7 or 8 years now, my day job involves making television for the BBC, filming motorsport is just a passion I have. I mean there’s not much else cooler than seeing films about drift is there ? .. yes being there is fantastic, competing even better !! .. but with a short film you can watch it over and again y’know ?
Ok so enough ramblings … Here’s a film I shot of a one off event here in the UK called the British Open. Now although the Open is run by the British Drift Championship its a seperate one off event entirely.
I shot this on a single Sony EX3 Camera .. hope you guys enjoy.
