Fueltopia Barrel Sprint Round 2 was held at the familiar venue of Santa Pod on the May 2nd, this time the track was setup on the other side of the drag strip giving the drivers a different challenge.
It wasnt only the track location that changed, alot of the usual drivers would struggle either with the timing on the lights or with their cars.
Including Jake Archer, who had issues with his engine, only getting it fixed in time for qualifying.
A few newcomers would take their chance at beating the barrells, Craig Toull took the opportunity to join the FWD Class and James Moore joined the super competative RWD class.
FBS is a sport that accomodates any car, just look at the variety, a few S-bodies, a Corsa, BMW e46, MX-5, there is no excuse not to get to an event and try it for yourself.
At the end of the day and plenty of close battles later, the winners were decided. In the FWD class, Sean Franklin took the win over newcomer Craig Toull.
In the RWD class Adam Elder took 1st with Luke Woodham in 2nd & Mike Newland in 3rd.
In the AWD class Matthew Miller took the top spot followed by Dan Smith in 2nd & Jake Archer in 3rd.
Ill leave you with plenty of photos and see you all at a round of Fueltopia Barrell Sprint soon!
