Ueo Vs. Justin Pawlak OMT
Ueo leads and has deep and angle and rides the wall through the sweeper, JTP with a gap and not able to catch up till after the sweeper.
JTP leads and Ueo mirrors JTP through the course. Ueo showing why hes here and able to just keep great angle and speed through the entire course. Ueo moves on to the Top 16
Ueo Vs. Justin Pawlak
Ueo leads and both come in with a great angle and initiation from both. JTP staying close behind Ueos smoke screen. great run from both but Ueo with a deeper angle.
JTP leads with Ueo staying on JTP through the course. solid run from both and judges call it OMT
Aasbo Vs. Marshall
Aasbo leads and just smokes out the track, tons of smoke and nice angle on entry. Marshall with a gap.
Marshall leads with Aasbo mirroring Marshall through the entire coursem they are door to doo on the sweeper and Aasbo never backing down but never passing him, just letting Marshall know thaqt he is there on his side. Aasabo moves on
Kyle Mohan Vs. L. Fine
Kyle leads and has a great initiation but has a major correction on the sweeper to avoid a wall correction, then on the entry into the S part of the course both drivers have slight corrections. On exit of the course Kyle goes into a concrete barrier sideways, we are waiting for word on condition of the car.
5 Minute rule in effect, Kyle broke a rim and is replacing/accessing damage.
Fine leads and has a huge gap on Kyle through the entire course. Entry speed of 90mph from Fine and Kyle not able to catch up at all. Fine doesnt even look back as he just drifts out the course and moves him on to the Top 16.
Dai Yoshihara Vs. R. Bolger
Dai leads with a great initiation and has some great smoke and angle. Robbie trying to stay close in the borrowed car(Back at home has a 1000hp vehicle). Great run from both but Dai showing that he has the better car.
Robbie leads, with Dai initiating before Robbie, slight correction from Dai but mirros him through the entire course once they exit the sweeper, is almost door to door at one point. Dai moves on.
Conrad Gruenwald Vs. Robbie Nishida
Conrad leads with an entry speed of 102 mph and goes sidways past the plastic barriers into the Tire Wall! Robbie runs out the course and here comes the safety crew.
Conrad Gruenwald concedes and Robbie moves on.
Chris Forsberg Vs. G. Whitier OMT
Chris leads and once again with a great initiation and hangs out the rear end of his 350z on the wall. Whitier staying close and able to have some good angle and stays on Chris throughthe S part of the course.
Whitier leads and once again has an early gap on the initiation, and is able to close the gap on the end of the sweeper, Whitier with some great smoke and angle with Chris able to stay close after the sweeper. Chris gets to move on.
Chris Forsberg Vs. G. Whitier
Chris leads and has great angle on entry and rides the sweeper through to the clipping point, Whitier keeps with Chris through the S and shadowing his angle on exit.
Whitier leads and has a substantial gap on Chris, good initiation from both, but Chris not able to keep up with Whitier through the course. They call it OMT!
James Deane Vs. T. Djan OMT
James leads and both have a mirror initiation, up on the wall and through the sweeper, Djan with a small gap through the sweeper and into the S part of the course. James able to maintain a gap and out the course.
Djan leads and James giving chase, both initiate and James following the line that Djan had and as Djan connects into the wall, James follows suit and hits Djan and they both end up on the wall and James pinning Djan with the wall. Lots of smoke and water on track as James seemed to pop something on the hit. Djan moves on as they rule the hit more on James due to the angle of the hit as Djan wouldnt have hit as hard if it wernt for James connecting.
(5 minutes for Djan as his car is running hot and needs to cool down)
James Deane Vs. T. Djan
James leads with a very early initiation and rides the wall on initiation, slight gap between Deane/Djan and maintain a consistent gap through the course. Great run from both.
Djan leads, and has James mirroring through the S part of the course. OMT is the call.
Sam Hubinette Vs. Ryuji Miki
Sam leads with a good initiation buy Miki sytaying on Sam through the sweeper and staying close. Slight corrections from Miki allowing for Sam to look to win that first run.
Miki leads with Sam Mirrioring Miki through the sweepr and through the course. Sam takes the win
Paul Vlasblom Vs. “Mad” Mike Widdet
Paul leads and initiates with Mike on him but going shallow on entry, stays on Pauls front bumper but Paul is able to keep his lead and able to drift out the course with Mike staying close.
Mad Mike leads and has a big seperation showing the horsepower in the 4 rotor motor. Good gap but Paul able to pull it back in but has a correction entering the 2nd clip. Mad Mike moves on
C. Ruiterman Vs. Luke Fink
Ruiterman gets a bye run as Luke blew his motor yesterday during practice.
Tanner Foust Vs. R. Niezen
Tanner leads and initiates early, Niezen initiates behind him and takes alot shallower line to stay with Tanner, Tanner with the obvious advantage.
Niezen leads, and initiates with Foust on hiss bumper and stays with him through the sweeper and the S part of the course. He cant shake Tanner. Tanner moves on.
Darren McNamara Vs. Ben Broke-Smith
DMac leads and has a proper line through the course, Ben trying to keep up has a lot shallower line.
Ben leads and initiates, takes a shallow line with DMac coming in hot and almost passing behind him through the sweeper. Dmac stays on Ben through the course. DMac moves on
Vaughn Gitten Vs. Marcos Santos
JR leads and has a nice early initiation, Marcos gets aggresive and trys to pull it back in. JR on the wall through the sweeper and taps the wall but maintains his drift and speed.
Marcos leads and has a early initiation, rides the wall as JR takes a slightly shallower line, but JR is able to stay on Marcos through the S portion of the track and stays on Marcos through the end. JR moves on
Takatori Vs. Bill Sherman
Takatori leads and initiates early, Bill Sherman is able to stay on Takatori through the wall, but Takatori rides the wall through the sweeper.
Bill leads, and has a nice initiation, Takatori has a correction on entry and has to re-engage the entry. Bill moves on.
Eric O’Sullivan Vs. Stepan Verdier
Eric leads and initiates , begins running through the sweeper and midway thru taps the back end on the wall and goes with the nose into the wall. Eric will be towed off, once off the field, he will have 5 minutes to determine and correct his issues.
Eric has called it saying that he can not run.
Rhys Millen Vs. Ken Gushi
Rhys gets a bye run as Ken’s car is still out of commision.
