Location: Irwindale Speedway, Irwindale, CA

Event: Formula DRIFT Link ECU PRO2 Championship Round Four, TYPE S Title Fight Weekend

ROUND FOUR RESULTS

Winner: Mike Power (USA) – Power Racing / MA Motorsports Nissan Silvia S15

Second: Nick Noback (USA) – Koruworks / RTS Built / Noback Racing BMW E46

Third: Ricky Hoffman (USA) – Tire Stacks / FDF Racing / Drift HQ Nissan S14

2020 FD LINK ECU PRO2 CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

Winner: Dmitriy Brutskiy (Belarus) – Essa Motorsport / Never Settle / Achilles Radial BMW M3

Second: Jonathan Hurst (USA) – Cash Racing / Achilles Radial Infiniti G37

Third: Joshua Love – After Hours Autosports BMW E36

NOTES

  • PRO2 returned to Irwindale Speedway after a break in 2019 and the exciting Final thoroughly deserved to be at The House of Drift
  • None of the top three drivers in the 2020 FD Link ECU PRO2 Championship were on the Round Four podium
  • Round Three Championship leader Hurst was knocked out in the Top 32 heats after experiencing car problems 
  • Championship winner Brutskiy was eliminated from the Top 8 by Steve Misko (USA) driving the Tire Stacks / FDF Racing / Gas Factory Nissan 240SX.
  • Brutskiy had to wait for Blake Olsen (USA) in the Koruworks / Achilles Radial BMW E92 to be knocked out of the Top 8 to know he’d secured the 2020 title
  • Olsen was eliminated by Noback, who also beat Championship contenders Hurst in the Top 32, and Love in the Top 16 to reach the Final, clearing the way for Brutskiy’s win
  • The top four drivers in Round Four are all 2020 FD Link ECU PRO2 Championship Rookies 
  • Love is the 2020 FD Link ECU PRO2 Championship Rookie of the year
