Nissan 370z! Forsbergs looks sick! I am going to get one and drift it someday. Bwahahahaha!! DO I win?
I like joon maeng’s mazda rx8 beacuse the power of the rotary is something you cant beat and plus the sound beautiful.
Jeff Abbott’s Mazda Miata! I chose this due to the inspiration Jeff has spread across the roadster community all around, such as myself. Even though the miata is seen as the underdog most of the time, it goes to show that the little roadster can slide. This without a V8 either.
FORSBERG in his NOS 370Z because he is a beast in the lead and THE BEST trail hands DOWN he was stripped at round 5 they should have went again and he would have won in the final…@CLEANESTRUNDOTCOM
Thank you for the kind words…
Also for Jeff Abbott’s Miata. He is holding it down as a privateer, career man and a family man. No matter how many times the car goes down he gets it fixed and ready for the next Round he is able to compete in. Seeing such a small car on grid astounds me. Almost like bringing a knife to a gun fight and he puts on a show. He’s Jeff Abbott, a drifter.
Jeff Abbot’s Miata. I own a ’90 miata so i have to rep the roadster community. +1 for short wheel base! 😉
Definitely going to see not only Jeff Abbott but also Danny George in the VegasDrift Pro-Am, both because I also drive a miata and have followed their driving on Roadsterdrift.
The day before round 6 I will be in San Francisco, from there I need to make a 14 hour drive alone to Utah, then rest for maybe half a day and make the 6 hour trip down to Vegas for Round 6. I will definitely make it, but a free ticket would definitely help.
there’s so many too choose from especially 2003 till now. if i really had to choose it would be a pair, or a you can call them a team. to me they were the starters of drifting in the early days. From the Speedtrial event back in 99′, to the drift days….
Club 4AG’s AE86
…back when Formula Drift was starting there were two ‘bad’ V8’s millen and hubinette. Back in those years people were trying Nitrous, bigger turbos, rb’s instead of sr20’s. BUT it was Taka Aono and Hiro Sumida that you would hear going full throttle the whole way through chasing down these monsters. IF you were lucky enough to be there in the early days, the sound and the action of the club 4ag ae86’s were a thing of beauty. Those two cars really embodied the grassroots spirit, and had the testicular fortitude to be the underdog in and literally push the limit in each and every run.
Jeff Abbott’s Miata is very cool. I have watched both driver and car grow in this sport since 2005 and have been both impressed and inspired at every turn. He is a textbook example of climbing the grassroots ladder, while never losing sight of fun or family. The man takes care of his own and is to be feared.
Vaughn Gittin Jr’s Ford Mustang GT!
SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
Robbie Nishida’s Nissan GT-R is gnarly!!!! Mos def my dream car =]
dais s13, inspired me into drifting along time ago and i carnt stop thinking about driftig it not a hobbie its a passion formula drift helpd me alot in the machnicing side because when i started i didnt ahve a clue but now it all seems clearer.hoe i win and good luck to the rest!!!
omg my spelling is stupid owell ^^
Team Need For Speed’s TC and S14. Aasbo is a beast behind the wheel, putting so many V8’s down. Hold Stumt. And Matty in his oh so stylish Zenki, so much passion and improvement. Such a stylish take on livery’s, and just a no fear driving style.
My Fav has gotta be Taka Aono in the 86. I think his determination and passion for the sport shines through with his record of never missing an event…… also gotta give him credit for his driving skills too! his “never lifting throttle foot” is amazing to see and hear!!!
Vaughn Gittin Mustang, gotta luv that american muscle!
I would have to say my favorite ride has to be MATT POWERS KA-T 2010 SEASON NISSAN 240SX absolutely amazing how someone can go out there and kill it with 469 hp s14. its amazing to come from where he did with pure skill and a FANTASTIC CAR
My favorite ride has to be MATT POWERS 2010 season car also. He is such a badass he was his own team in 2010. Even changing tires himself last year. And now his 2011 car is even better with the LS7 and new clutch from A.C.T. also don’t forget Costa’s help too.
My favorite would have to be Ross Petty and his “Rossta” colored LS3 powered S15 Silvia. Ive always loved the S15 for what it was and its drifting capability, and Throw a LS3 in there and your unleashing the drifting beast. Good luck Ross. See you in Vegas
My fave driver is Walker Wilkerson! He is from the northwest, and has gangsta backwards entry swag! Really chill guy off the track and a role model! 🙂
NOBs s15 not just the car but the way he drove it. He was robotic his line was always clean and effortless he drove like a machine
Mustang! Baby all the way!Vaughn gittin Jr. Knows how to handle that car. And he also knows he has to respect the car as well. Just awesome watching all the drivers!
