News in from our mid-west affiliates over at Drift Indy. They hosted a private session this past weekend that took place in Converse, Indiana. This will be their new venue location for their 2009 point series. Amongst the staff they had 10 drivers come out and begin prepping, setting up and testing of the track to make sure it will suit their needs for the upcoming season. With the beginning of testing and entry speeds of 80mph. Drift Indy was quick to realize that this track will definitely suit their needs for this fast approaching season. On hand for this day was the Drift Indy staff, Drift Indy drivers like Bill Cook, Clinton Florczyk. Upcoming drivers, that are now coming into their own like Chris Balthis and Derek King. They even had Formula Drift and Maxxis sponsored driver Brian Peter come out to make sure the course is “hot”.
