Kumakubo! Reason enough!
I need the tickets because I’m stimulating the economy!
Welll i am a colllege student. As we all no college students eat Cup Of Noddles EVERYDAY!!! and i can’t afford to go. i have been into drifting since 2000. Neighbor use to drift and yeah. Just be a experience to have and tell my kids one day. =]
I think I deserve these tickets because I showed my friends in Spain what drifting is on You tube a couple of summers ago. I love watching the street drifting videos but to see real professionals doing what they do would be amazing! I have this thing for the Falken Skyline so i hope to see it if i do go.
thanks for the chance to win,
Louie
i think i deserve these tickets because im 17 yrs old trying to make it into the drift scene ever since 05″ at the D1 usa vs JP, and even before that, it was also my first professional event !
I should get free tickets because I wake up every morning and I piss excellence. When I fart, it smells like roses. I eat babies for breakfast and lunch, and for dinner I club a baby seal and eat that. Unlike Chuck Norris, my tears do not cure cancer, they kill you. Luckily, I also have never shed a single tear (except for the time the Exxon Valdez crashed, it wasnt actually oil that killed all that wildlife, it was one of my tears, and that’s only because I got jabbed in the eye with a spear).
In short, I am awesome in every way imaginable and Chuck Norris aint got sh!t on me therefore I should be getting in to D1GP for free.
The end.
Because i am in denial that a car can go sideways and create such a huge amount of smoke. I must see it in person to believe such a ridiculous claim.
I love drifting, I went to the D1GP in Dec. 05′. I had a major blast when i went and wanted to go again, but the other D1’s we’re in different area’s so for transportation reasons i could not go.
I wanted to go to the one in 05′ so bad I begged my parents for me to go
and they said we’ll think about it, then sure enough they said “if you go, we have to go too”
So get this I was wanting to go soooo bad i was willing to take my parents along
imagine how embarrassing that is to bring your parents with, when your 15 years old at the time.
Also im interested to one day be a drifter.
even enough to want to spend 7k on a 1985 Toyota Trueno imported from japan.
Plus I live in Nor-cal so its drivable to get there.
At the moment I am also jobless 🙁 so it would be a godsend if i got a free ticket to go
I love drifting so much, anything i do (car related) will be related to drifting somehow or another.
Thats why I think I deserve a ticket.
Happy drifting!
Dear. d1 promoter i deserve these tickets because IT”S my BIRTHDAY i REALLY turn 26 i can show you my I.D. that will be so cool… And i want them because I LOVE the adrenaline of drifting
Because you guys never answered my email back after I won when I wrote this Hi names Magnus an I have been into drifting since my junior year of high school in 05 I cant say I knew much about cars at the time but I had a thriving passion to learn after years of searching the internet for any and every site possible I have acquired enough information to be able to fix, build, and drive a car for many types of racing. Now I cant tell you I have a better car then anyone here or that I can drive like any D1, Formula D, or any street teams but I can tell you I love cars and I learn from the things I see. I am currently pursuing my career in the automotive industry as well as getting my certification in auto mechanics. I would love to be able to go to one of the biggest events in the US. To me there will never be anything better than drifting an nothing more intriguing then the cars in it. Please Pick Me It would be an honor. PS Daijiro Yoshihara the legend Forrest Wang the Future!
It would be a dream come true to see D1 Live, instead of in the Option/Drift Tengoku Videos. I have been to many Formula D Drift Sessions, but no D1’s; And I hear Formula D doesn’t even compare. I want to see for myself! Thanks.
I’m an avid drifting fan and have always wanted to go to a D1GP event. I’m in the United States Marine Corps and its hard to find time to go to events, but the event at anaheim is one of the few weekends I will have off. I tried to get stationed in Japan, but I got stationed in San Diego instead. I missed the Red Bull event because I was in Iraq, and this past weekend I couldn’t go to the FD long beach event, because we had to work all weekend. It would be a dream come true to see a D1 event in person and show some american pride while I’m there.
Thx
Cpl Lindsey USMC
I think i should get some free tickets cause im the man. driftings cool and all but im into it for the slutty jap hunnys if you know what i mean. plus D1 is the best circuit and im stoked to see hwo the new judging works out. so lemme get some tickets!
My name is Bryan, and I drift in AZ. I would like to get a free ticket to give to my friend Jesse, who the lead Tech at Superior Racing in Tempe, AZ. I spun a bearing in my car, and he helped me with not only the engine, but anything else that needed work, so I can get back on the road drift ready. Even when I tried to pay him he turned it away and was happy helping me reach my goals. He is a single father with a 2.5 year old son Luke who loves drifting too! So if anyone deserves a free ticket, it’s him. Thank you, and keep up the good work at EDRIFT.
my name is Eric and i think i deserve these tickets cuz i favor a D1GP event over any other drifting or racing event. i know every drivers name and car and have been following them since 03. i live and breathe drifting and these tickets would be perfect for taking along some other friends, who would otherwise never go, to show them the power, excitement, and intensity that can only be shown through D1GP!
I believe I deserve and WANT THESE TICKETS SO BADLY because I would go as far as leave my dying mother on her death bed to go to D1GP. That’s how much I LOVE DRIFTING! It’s my world, it’s my LIFE!
The Drift King is my idol.
I went to the VERY FIRST USA D1GP event in 2002 at the Irwindale Speedway when Katsuhiro Ueo was crowned champion in his AE-86 Toyota Corolla, beating out all the other high-powered cars like S15’s, skylines, supras, etc. From that point on, I FELL IN LOVE WITH DRIFTING!
The last time I went to D1GP was 3 years ago in 2005. It the first time in D1 history, an American took top honors in an American car to win a D1 event, ever!
The past few years, something had always come up, preventing me from attending the event (no $$, no transportation, etc.) But I wouldn’t miss this year’s event if my life depended on it.
That is all. Thank you.
wellllllll, kuz im short on cash but i wanna see the sick entry
I would really like to get this ticket for my boyfriend MATT. He loves drifting & loves helping people with their cars. Recently a friend of mine had crashed my car in the canyons, completely totaled. Now since my boyfriend being a mechanic he has been working so hard on my car to restore it. He has chopped the front end & welded a new front clip. Now I am right hand drive on my 240. He has also repainted it to my favorite color. Next he will be putting the engine in & everything. Throughout all this, he has not asked me for anything in return. His birthday is APRIL 18th. He is turning 20. He used to drive a ’94 twin turbo supra but now has an s2k. He is a really giving person & I would love to give back by winning him this ticket & take him to it as a late birthday present.
THANK YOU GUYS!
Mad props to you guys being the #1 stop shop for all the Drifting news . I would like to take out my new camera ans snaps pics for you guys at this event . Please hook It up with some tickets …. Thanks , Jay / Garden Grove
Hi, I would like the chance to win a ticket only because I have always loved the drift scene ever since I first took my daughter to see it in person in Braselton Ga. for the Road Atlanta formula drift… There has always something I loved about the smell of the burnt rubber and high rpm sound the cars make when they bounce off the rev limiter… I have always tried to make it to an event… I feel that drifting is here to stay as a race culture and I would love to see more new drivers make there way to the top!!! Hopefully one day my 7 year old daughter will grow up to love the same race culture I have come to enjoy!!!
I live in Indiana, where drifting is not to popular. Everyone is all about drag racing. Me, on the other hand, watch as much drifting I can online, and try to go to as many local events as possible. I have built all of the Aoshima D1GP model kits, and I want to show my girlfriend what the D1GP is all about! Plus, neither of us have been to California! On top of that, I have a 2 year old son, work full time, and go to college full time. I need a break! Help me out!
My boyfriend is big into drifting, and his birthday is right around the corner, so this would be a perfect birthday present for him. I am interested in drifting, and I want to learn more about the sport.
I would love to have tickets to the Drift Grand Prix because I’ve never been to this sort of event before. I don’t really know anything about drifting, but my boyfriend likes to drift his cars and it is his goal to become a professional drifter. I would like to come watch the event so that I can film it for him and send it to him. He is currently serving a 13-month tour in the Middle East and is really missing out on all these great opportunities to advance his drifting career. I’m sure it would mean a lot to him for me to go and keep him updated. I am currently a film student, so I am putting together a year long documentary in segments for him so that he doesn’t have to feel like everything has changed while he’s away. Thanks so much for the post, I’d really love to check this event out and find out what drifting is all about 🙂 Alex
I would love to get a ticket so that I could show my son what real drifting is like. I would have bought a ticket if I hadn’t been laid off a few months ago.
My little brother has cancer and his dying wish is to attend D1GP with me. Please, help make this little one’s dreams come true.
I really want those tickets cause im in a tight money situation and I went to D1 in dec of ’06 which was amazing. best drifting event ive ever gone too.
What better way to learn more about drifting techniques than to learn from the absolute GREATEST in the world??? uhh.. none! i’ve been following drifting since before that movie that everyone likes but won’t admit.. (fast and furious) came out in the 90’s.. i’ve been to just about every formula D event in atl (the last 4 years) since i graduated high school… i blew all my graduation money on drifting stuff… wut more do you need??!?! i am the greatest drifting fan IN THE WORLD!! im working 2 jobs and quiting school so i can go drifting professionally! hook me up! 🙂 thanks! p.s. i live in atl… so miami tix would be SUPER! thanks again!
I am 17 and i am not throughing the age card but i been into drifting ever since my cousin started bringing things from japan. i had to sell my 1991 240sx coupe last year =[ and that was going to be my drift car but imma come back with a hatchback and smash ;]..i can say hands down i want to go more than anyone!
I love engines and i drift as well. Never been to an event like this one, and my role model is Kumakubo. I’ve been trying to get into the drift scene and have had no luck. I’d love for this one to be my first event.
I love engines and speed and i drift as well. I’ve been trying to get in the drift scene but have had no luck. I love to see Kumakubo

i love drifting, i watch at least one video every day. also that RWD orange Subaru is like my dream car and i would go crazy if i got to see it in person and possibly meet the driver. i’m a senior about to graduate and i don’t think anything else could make my senior year more memorable than watching D1 live. this is why i think i deserve a ticket 🙂
