As always, you like free stuff, and we like to provide it! The event – Formula Drift: Round 2 – Road Atlanta! Ran on the infamous Road Atlanta course in Atlanta, Georgia. So let’s give you the 411! My favorite drivers are Michael Essa and Chelsea DeNofa. Why?
Because they are both driving E46 with s54 engines which makes them both kind of unique in FD 2013, because of the amount of s13s and s14s with american V8s.
Best driver’s suit of 2013 is by far Matt Powers’ tuxedo suit! Cause it shows that he wants to be formal, but he’s here to slide! Keepin it classy!
Been going to Round 2 in Atlanta for 7 years now, and have watched the crowd grow each year. Love watching Conrad Grunewald in his Hankook Camaro SS. I love watching the big cars slinging that fat butt around the track and hanging the rear end out so far that it looks like it will spin. The black and white on this Camaro are a favorite of mine due to the clean look and great lines.
One of my favorite drivers is Taka Aono because he drives an AE86! The Hachiroku is my favorite car and it makes Aono unique.
This is…difficult! If I had to pick one car livery, it’ll probably have to be Vaughn’s Nitto Tire RTR. I love all the detail that you’ll likely miss if you only look once…not to mention the color scheme as well. 🙂 And the blue/green tire track across the driver’s side headlight kind of reminds me of an epic scar. ;D
Last year was my first year at the Drift cause I got tired of a friend bugging me about it for years. I am a serious Nascar fan and didn’t think I would enjoy drift, but DAMN!!! I love it, I love NOS, so it stands that I like Chris “The Force” Forsberg and his Orange NOS livery. He slings that car around the track and win or lose Formula Drift and Forsberg have a fan for life. I also took my grandson and he loved it and I can’t wait to take him again this year!
My favorite livery this year is Toshiki Yoshioka’s Subaru BRZ’s livery. This livery is just different than every other car and yet simple.
