It’s time to get the 2014 Formula D Season underway down on the Streets of Long Beach. Last years FD season was one full of drama and excitement, and were sure this year will be the same.
We have Four tickets up for grabs and all ya got to do us tell us What was your favorite moment from Formula D in 2013 and who do you think will take the win in Long Beach this year.

For me the best moment of formula d was watching the battle between Vaughn gittin Jr vs Fredric aasbo in road Atlanta, I think it was the best just because of the excitement and intensity when jr literally ran over the front end of aasbo, was insane just because they both kept going at it, I just thought that was really awsome haven’t seen that in a while, I just really loved that will that aasbo had to keep on going and push it to the limits that was my best partof 2013.
Oh and I think dai yoshihara will take it hands down 🙂 goodluck dai 🙂
For me my favorite part of fomula drift was meeting my favorite drivers Michael Essa and Vaughn Gitten jr. It was an honor to be able to talk to them. And as who i think will take the win in longbeach is hopefully Jr but honestly i believe dai yoshihara will take the win! Hopefully you pick me for a ticket that would be awesome ! Well I think mike essa winning was sick haha and who I think will win well who knows someone who deserves it and fights for it.
Best moment of Formula Drift 2013 has to be the back to back battle between Aasbo and Saito at Rd. 1! The course being super narrow and having them tandem so close to each other rather than being a power battle made it a full on control and skill battle. It was crazy how many one more times there were and the judging was on point for every battle! For Rd. 1 of Formula D, I feel like Matt Field has been consistent since last season and has been KILLING it on the track! I don’t have a doubt that things will get crazy but surely it’ll be the best season yet to come! So many new chassis’ this year and anything can happen!
I have so many favorites from last season but i would have to say the best moment from last season was at round 1 in long beach when Fredrick aasbo and daigo saito went back to back omt’s. I didn’t get to witness it in person but just watching it through livestream had me really amped up and stoked to see them when they get fl(where i stay). And i honestly think there are many big contenders for the championship this season with all the new cars. But i think mike essa could take it again. Or atleast still has a good chance.
My best Formula D moment was actually attending the Final Fight at Irwindale Speedway. Just feeling the atmosphere of the place makes me want to continue to keep building my 240sx and start drifting. I hope Dai YOshihara wins Long Beach.
My favorite moment of FD 2013 was Essa winning the title. He drove hard all season, was very consistent, and made it through a few rough patches. He definitely deserved it. I think Essa or Dai will win Round 1 this year
best part of 2013 season probably was Vaughn Gittin Jr playing monster truck smashing into Fredric Aasbø and almost ramping his car into the air, as for who i think will win im hoping for Daijiro Yoshihara with his new car to take the podium for sure.
For me, the best moment for me and this also has to be one of the best moments of Formula Drift, it has to be when Fredric Aasbo and Diago Saito went for 3 times. That was a real rush. Both outstanding drivers. Both very competitive. Great cars. But it all came down on how the drive. I think Chris Forsberg will take Long Beach this time. He got 3rd last time. I think he really has a chance to take Long Beach this time.

I have not been to a drift race. Both of my boys have wanted to go, but something else as always been scheduled. My 12 and 14 year olds,have been sucked in on the tv when they watch it.
I would like to be able to take them and see the expression /happiness of them watching this .
Their favorite driver is Vaughn Gitten JR, ever since they saw him on Rob Dyrdick’s show.

Woooooo FORMULA D!!!!!!!!! Went to all the vegas drift events why did you stop going to Vegas
Wow! i am so flooded with emotions whenever i talk or even think about a FormulaD event. Such an high caliber, high adrenaline action sport. FormulaD keeps you on the edge of your seat during the entire event/season.
Its very hard for me to pick a favorite moment because i take every moment to heart. From the door to door battle in Rd 1. between Daigo vs. Aasbo, also…when JTP slammed into the wall …i thought for sure he was done & out of the game but his team was able to get him up & running again & he came back & placed in top16 …its true what they say ….“if its possible, it will happen” Rd 2 The Monster Truck – Demolition Derby between Vaughn Hittin Jr vs. Aasbo (LOL!!) Rd 3. The conspiracy run between Joon Maeng vs Tony Angelo Rd 4. The Ninja with a 62 point lead into the Championship. Rd 5 with Daigo getting knocked out in top32. that changed everything in points & it becomes a top 5 driver battle to the end. Rd 6 Matt Field takes his 1st podium. And OMGosh Rd 7 Essa leading the points in the final round & then he blew his engine. How nerve racking is that to have to watch from the sidelines to see who will win the overall Championship?
oK oK my favorite moment is when Daigo made a come back & took 1st place podium in Irwindale. And Essa taking the overall Championship which he totally deserves and proved that success can be had without the need of major sponsorships! So awesome! With that being said & Essa setting the trend ….i’m going to go all out & say i believe Matt Field will take 1st place podium in Long Beach.

The best moment in FD 2013 for me was the battle between aasbo and daigo saito. I think Tyler Macquarie is going to win FD long beach this year.
The best battle of 2013 had to be between Essa and Forceberg at New Jersey.
The fact that both runs were ran 100% by both drivers was really phenomenal. Forceberg had a solid lead run while Essa did a very good job to keep up, he hit the clipping point coming off the bank which set him back quite a bit. Essa then put everything into his lead run, nearly perfect run by him with some of the most smoke i have ever seen. However Forceberg did a solid chase run and stuck his door the whole dam time. Can honestly say that run gave him chills, making my hair stand up.
I think Chelsea Denofa is going to take Long Beach this year. He has one of the most aggressive styles out there, and this year he has a completely refreshed chassis (same as last year so he is comfortable with it already). This is Chelsea’s year to shine and hes gonna start it off with a bang by taking 1st at LB.
