This past weekend was the First round of Just Drift‘s Top Drift Formula D Pro-Am Series Presented by: Megan Racing. This by far was one of the biggest rounds 1 events for Just Drift with a field of 59 drivers and the largest crowd that we have seen at the Balcony track out at Willow Springs International Raceway.
This weekend Just Drift will be holding it first round of it TopDrift Formula D Pro Am Series out at Willow Springs International Raceway. The event will take place at the Balcony Autocross and Skid Pad Course. Below is drivers list for the event. So come out and support the future Formula D stars as they make their first step on the road to FD.
Saturday schedule:
7AM-12PM – tech inspection/roll in/Drivers meeting/check in/Practice
12PM – 1PM – lunch break
1PM – 5PM – Practice
Sunday
7AM – Drivers meeting
8am-12pm – Practice
12PM – Drivers meeting/Lunch break (LUNCH IS FREE FOR REGISTERED DRIVERS – PROVIDED BY MEGAN RACING)
1PM – 5PM qualifying – Finals
On the weekend of November 17-18 Just Drift held the First of its Toy Drift events of the year. Its a weekend of fun drifting and more important collecting toys for CHP’s Chips for kids holiday program. The turn out was great we were able to help collect a bunch of toys for the kids. As we are closing our year end, it’s time to focus on the less fortunate that are looking forward to the holiday season. Toydrift 2012 is about sharing our blessings. Just Drift is going to bring extra smiles to the kids that need the love and something to brighten their day with. Last year 2011, JUSTDRIFT together with the California Highway Patrol went to Kaiser Permanente. We donated toys to the kids with special needs and have been diagnosed with medical conditions.
We invite everyone to join us in this effort by attending the JUSTDRIFT TOYDRIFT 2012. If you are not a driver and still want to participate. You can either go to Willow Springs and drop it off on Nov 17-18 and get a ride along in one of the drift cars or contact us and we can arrange a drop off place closer.
