Shane O’Sullivan to Drive Japspeed S15 in Prodrift 2011
Japspeed are proud to announce the introduction of Ireland’s Shane O’Sullivan to the team for 2011. After a successful 2010, Japspeed are branching out to compete full-time in the Irish Prodrift series, and as such their RB25-powered S15 will be maintained and ran by Shane Finn and the rest of the Japspeed Ireland division.
‘Paul and the Japspeed UK team have built a truly fantastic machine which we’ve seen compete in Ireland in the past’ explains Shane Finn. ‘The S15 will still remain in its traditional Japspeed black and white livery but instead will be used by Shane O’Sullivan throughout the Prodrift series, as well as additional displays and events to help promote Japspeed in Ireland’.
Driver Shane O’Sullivan has been nicknamed the ‘dark horse’ of the ProDrift series thanks to his consistent but aggressive driving style, and has competed for the past three years in a 380bhp Nissan S13. The step-up to the Japspeed 470bhp S15 will give him the chance to further improve his driving and get up on the podium in a series featuring some of the world’s best drifting talent.
Additionally, first testing will begin at Mondello Park this Saturday, March 19th.
