We thought it was time to bring you another car feature. This time its Matthew Denham’s 200SX that is used to compete in the Semi-Pro class of the British Drift Championship.
The car is quite basic if you compare it to some of the other cars within the championship, its running a SR20DET engine with 300hp.
BC Racing Coilovers & Japspeed steering arms have been fitted and modifications have been made to the knuckles and subframe to improve the steering lock.
The exterior of the car features an Aerokit bodykit and Rota GTR wheels.
The interior has all of the usual safety features such as a cage, fire extinguisher & cut offs for fuel / battery. Anything that adds weight without a required function is gone such as the carpets and stereo.
Matthew hasnt built this car to have a huge amount of power or unique details, its a car built to compete at the front of the championship. He is sitting in 11th place with a round to go, it shows you dont need to go crazy on the spec of a car to start competing in the British Drift Championship.
Ill finish this article with a photo from Round 4 at Lydden Hill, 300hp and plenty of smoke.
