Photos & Story By: Ryan Belville – Let me start off by saying Michigan and drifting haven’t exactly got along this season. Unfortunately almost every scheduled event has rained. But that didn’t stop J Woo founder of Project A Spec drift team from putting on another good event. There weren’t many spectators because of the weather but that didn’t stop the drivers from showing up. The Midwest Drift Union (MDU for short) which consists of Project-A-Spec, DriftIndy as well as Outbrake Motorsports were all in attendance. Nissan 240’s dominated the track along with a clean looking Toyota Corolla. Derrick Allen from Outbrake Motorsports even brought out his RB-20 powered S13. Due to the weather there really was no competition which made everyone who showed up a winner. Despite the rain everyone had a fun time enjoying drifting.
