Formula D Round 4 was just two days of mind blowing drifting ! First off congrats to all the drivers for doing well minus a few unfortunate mishaps. Second major congratulations to Nikolay Konstantinov for making it to Top 16. It must have been incredible to hear your hometown cheering you on. Third congrats to Tanner Foust for winning round 4. Lastly, congrats to ProAm drivers for a great show. Here are the results for the ProAm standings, 1st – Kyle Pollard 2nd – Nik Jimenez 3rd – Kohei Nakamura 4th – Peter Funatake.
So the event started on the 9th and right then and there it was just amazing. Mind you this was my first Formula D event but it was more then I ever expected. I never expected them to just launch a round of drivers so quickly ! The FD drivers weren’t even back by the time they sent out another group. It just kept the crowd entertained from the moment it started to the moment it ended. What made it even better is the amazing weather ! Washington is notoriously known for its unfortunate weather. But luckily FD weekend had temperatures of 88 degrees and up ! The first day was pretty crowded but the second was just packed. The second day included a One of One show hosted by Hellaflush and over 15,000+ presale tickets were sold. The stands were completely full as people waited anxiously to see FD begin. All in all, FD was a fantastic event that brought thousands together for the love of drifting and cars.
