Long Beach, Calif.  August 29, 2008  Formula DRIFT has opened up ticket sales for the Pro Championship season finale at Irwindale Speedway on October 11, 2008. Round 7: Final Fight tickets are available online for purchase and grandstand sectional reserved seating is available.

Round 7: Final Fight tickets are available at www.formuladrift.com on the Home Page under the Formula DRIFT Pro Championship Schedule. Ticket prices start at $25 online. Fans will be given the option to purchase reserved sectional seating. This will allow fans to choose which section of the grandstand they would like to sit in and each section will be reserved for fans that select that section only.

The finals are always an exciting event and Irwindale gets jam packed. With offering reserved seating for the first time in our history at Irwindale, fans can rest assured that they will not lose their seat while checking out the rest of the event features in the paddock, says Ryan Sage, V.P of marketing of Formula DRIFT.

The chase for the Castrol SYNTEC Power Cup will come to a close at this event and only one winner will become the next Formula DRIFT champion. Currently, 2-time champion, Samuel Hubinette is in the lead over current champion Tanner Foust. Rhys Millen is currently in 4th place overall and is also leading the way to his second Tires.com Triple Crown bonus prize, which will be determined at Round 7: Final Fight. The Red Bull Drifting World Championships are on November 15-16 and only the Formula DRIFT Top 16 will receive an invite to compete for the biggest prize purse in drifting competition history. With only 2 events remaining this will be the most competitive finale in Formula DRIFT history.

The Formula DRIFT Championship presented by Circuit City continues to Round 6: Locked and Loaded at Infineon Raceway on September 13 in Sonoma, CA.
