Drifting in my Infiniti makes me feel like I’m a racer even though I know I’m not. I would enjoy watching these cars throwdown!
To me, drifting is a release. Drifting is a positive outlet in which all races, shapes and sizes can collaborate and get along. In a word filled with such hate, we need more hobbies/lifestyles like drifting.
My boyfriend and I just went to our first drifting competition, MD Round 2. We are planning to visit different locations and this would be great!! Plus he’s never been on a plane!!
I love the thought of drifting because there’s so much happening in that moment that many people don’t see other than the car getting sick angles. In order to drift you have to have so much control of the car that not just anybody can do it, it’s amazing. Some people may not like drifting and say its and for the unintelligent and a waste of tires but when you think about it’s almost euphoric and takes a lot of skill. If I were able to see these cars in action and smell the burning rubber firsthand I’d be so grateful.
My favorite moments is talking with the drivers. Every year I draw a picture of some drivers cars and their reaction to them brings me pure joy of knowing I have accomplished something. Last year I made it into the driven to drift video with the drawing I did of aasbos TC. The joy I get from making a driver that little more pumped keeps me coming back every year.
I love drifting because it completely matches my personality in too many ways. I’m busy being broke and turning my life around. Drifting is always on my mind everywhere I go. Unfortunately for my dumb ass I’m broke and can’t afford to have a drift car(or even a second car that runs) and this has led me to drifting a 98 Chevy Tahoe on public roads. Yeah I know stupid. Until I found out about evergreen speedway. My girlfriend got us tickets to Driftcon 2015 for my bday. BEST GIFT EVER! That was my first time seeing, smelling, feeling, anything drifting. Everywhere I go, driving or not, all I think. About is what gear I’d be dropping to before the corner and what would it be like trying to learn how to drift in a car and not a old ass SUV. I Was born with a love for anything cars. I was born with burnt rubber on the bottom of my feet instead of skin. Good luck everyone!
When i was 13 i got to go in a ride in a 240sx swaped with a rbdett it was the happyiest moment of my life. I would truly amazed. To see this i hope to be there 🙂
For us, it is a family affair. It started with us supporting the family as they participated in local events. It grew to the point we would meet up every year to watch Formula D – Seattle. Now, its to the point where we plan vacations to visit other tracks across the country.
Drifting, for as exciting and entertaining it is, has also created lasting bonds and friendships.
