I’d love to get a pair of tickets so that I can see all the drivers compete on an even playing field(new track) to see who is truly the Red Bull World Drift Champion.

  2. Joshua guild October 21, 2008 3:16 pm

I like free tickets? I am down.

  5. Carlene October 21, 2008 4:14 pm

I’ve been a drifting fan for years. Would love to score these tickets to see the last drifting event of the year. Since this is the world championship, it makes it even better!!

  6. George K. October 21, 2008 4:18 pm

I want them because I really wanna go there.. If I’d have a choice to go to every FD event this year or Red Bull championship I’d choose The Red Bull championship.

  7. Chris L. October 21, 2008 4:35 pm

The world championship is an event I don’t want to miss due to being broke. I love drifting. It’s all I think about almost 24/7. 100mph entry is going to blow everyone’s mind away including mine. I hope to someday be out there getting my license.

  8. juan October 21, 2008 4:36 pm

thanks in advance and i hope to win!

  10. Eric October 21, 2008 4:57 pm

I would love to have those tickets because I am trying to work my way to becoming a professional drifter myself and I am trying whatever it takes to get me that much closer to my dream. I go to the few events I can and the largest have been N.O.P.I. STL which is still great but still a teaser. Plus I am hoping to see some of the drifters I know like; sherman, kenji, fuller, and wang. I want to be where the best drifter collide.

  11. Michael October 21, 2008 5:01 pm

I skate/snowboard for NOS Energy Drinks and work with the assistant manager of northern California.Meeting Chris Forsberg was awesome!I follow his races all the time, same with all the other drivers.I represented and advertised RiceBoyTV.com and NOS Energy Drinks at Formula Drift 2008 in Sonoma,CA.I would like the free tickets!!

  12. miguel garcia October 21, 2008 5:33 pm

Hey whats up……….i am not going to get on here and lie saying that i am a drifter and that this and that and making up bullshit im just going to come on here and tell you that i want these tickets cuz i love formula d and i think i should get a pair of tickets because this is an event that a true formula d fan should not miss out on!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Elliot October 21, 2008 5:58 pm

I am a huge fan of drifting, and I am leaving for basic training in the coast guard at the end of November and I’d really like to go to one more event before I leave!

  14. Jon October 21, 2008 8:16 pm

We are considering if The Drifting Sports would be a better way than other automotive scenes to promote our products (import goods).
So, we think this World Championship of Drifting might be a good way to see and decide for future business.

  15. Victor Orosco October 21, 2008 10:35 pm

I like pickle juice X-D HAHA nah Im playing. I really want to attend the event because i have a thing for drifting… it may be the tire smoke, the roaring engines, the low cars with flush wheel setups, oh and cant forget those umbrella girls;-) in all drifting is what i live and breath and hopefully i one day become skilled enough to drift and feel the joy that you get when you are at 90mph down a hairpin yanking the e-break with your car sideways and the whole world seems to flow by you in slow mo. IDK thats just what i imagine it to be but hopefully it is like that… because Drifting is my anti drug!

    P.S. Pick Me :-)

  16. Kristofer October 22, 2008 1:04 am

And I can fly al the way from Sweden to CA Long Beach to look at the top 32 drifters in the world when EVERYTHINGDRIFTS!

  17. chris October 22, 2008 6:31 am

i am travelling over 5000 miles to see this event and cant wait, i think formula d is leading the way for the rest of the world.its my first time to the u.s so wouldnt it be nice to be greeted with tickets to see the worlds best in action….

  18. Chaser October 23, 2008 12:15 pm

I want these tickets because FD rocks.

I deserve them because Im a badass.

-on a serious note, if I get these tickets, I will reserve a booth in the vendors area for LegenDori. check out http://www.myspace.com/legendori

  19. Buttsy October 23, 2008 1:57 pm

I want these tickets so I can sell them outside and buy some more Beer!!! And put petrol in the Motorhome! Cant wait to go!!!! Party on

  20. Matt Takumi Wang October 23, 2008 9:44 pm

I have never been to a drift event and I would want this event to be my first. As the treasurer of the car enthusiast club at UCSD, free tickets would be a great way to get more people into the drift scene.

    I also worship initial d
    (stage 1,2,3,4)+ arcade.

    Thanks for considering!

  21. Brian October 23, 2008 10:55 pm

I have been into drifting since 2003 and attended every D1GP in the U.S. I have never been to any Formula D in my life and I would really want to see the best drifters from around the world. Most of my friends are not into cars, but I introduced them to the sport of drifting and they love it. Pick me thank you.

  22. Nick Stucky October 23, 2008 11:44 pm

Me and a couple friends are driving all the way from Utah to be able to see this awesome event, gas prices are getting pricey and these could sure help us out!

  23. bitter clearly October 24, 2008 12:07 am

because i sell all these drift parts and even supply some fd drivers with parts, yet i don’t own a drift car nor have i ever been to a fd event :[

  24. bitter clearly October 24, 2008 12:08 am

oh and Antonio from SPEEDHUNTERS.com sent me

  25. Matt S. October 24, 2008 1:18 am

The car culture here in Ohio is so weak and we get nothing of any calibur of motorsports here. I would love to score free tickets to this because I’ve just recently gotten into drifting, I spend every minute I can just surfing blogs to see some of the sweetest JDM stuff out there. Most of all though I just wanted to send a shoutout and show my support for EDrift and Antonio from Speedhunters! I couldn’t even afford plane tickets to make it out there if I did win the tickets. hah Keep it real everyone.

  26. Bomber October 24, 2008 3:24 am

Antonio Alvendia from speedhunters sent me, I can’t miss this event, this is my dream, the bigger drift event in the world, I have to cover it!
I live my life for Drift, but I never see a real drift event,I want to see it.
    So please…
    Thanks for read,
    Max

  27. Afiq Abdullah October 24, 2008 8:53 am

Hello there. I really want these tickets. Firstly foremost, I am just 16 years old and hail from sunny Singapore. Formula D came to my town last April and I had a lot of fun watching those top FD drivers from the USA! Since I am just a teenager, I would really like to start my drifting carrer as soon as possible. That’s why I really want to go to the Red Bull world series to check out young drifters such as James Deane! So please guys, this a life time opportunity for me. Oh yeah, and Antonio from SPEEDHUNTERS.com sent me. Last but not least, Everythingdrift.com ROCKS !!!

  28. Jeff Nucum October 24, 2008 11:39 am

I’d love to get these tickets and so i can enjoy the day in long beach with my friends who are finally getting into motorsports after college. I can finally show them what all the upgrades to their cars can really do instead of making their ride better as their daily driveres.

  29. Liam October 24, 2008 12:10 pm

I saw Antonio’s post on Speedhunters and came right over!
The biggest reason I want these tickets is the fact that there are no professional level drift events in the Michigan, or anywhere in the midwest for that matter. Going to the Red Bull Drifting World Championship and seeing my favorite drifters from around the world competing against each other would be an experience I would never forget. What would be really awesome about going is the chance to see my favorite drifters form D1GP, EDC etc. that don’t compete in the U.S. , let alone southeast Michigan. Winning these tickets would ABSOLUTELY make the trip out to Long Beach worth it.

  30. R. Sir October 24, 2008 12:51 pm

    To keep it simple.
I LOVE the smell of burnt tires. There’s just something about it. Brings back great memories. Then you get a layer of rubber caked on your skin. Ahhh…

  31. Jesse October 24, 2008 5:23 pm

i’m looking for a surprise 1-year anniversary gift for my wife. she would never expect, not in a million years, a trip to go catch a drift event.

  32. Andrew Veal October 24, 2008 5:33 pm

The night was cold, the wind was blowing. One single tire stood alone in a garage. This tire was on its way out. Far too many times had its precious terrain of sticky rubber been turned to clouds of mystical white smoke. Suddenly, there was a crack of lighting and a burst of flame. They say rubber can not be struck by lighting, but this was no ordinary tire. The tire began to shake violently. Suddenly, a figure began to form. Out of this tire, came a new being, the god of drifting. This creature spawned out, created by pure love of sport, and pure adrenalin inducing driving. The god of drifting now roams the streets, leaving its mark in every turn, unleashing the the drifting power. If you go to your favorite turn, the one that makes you grip the wheel, the one that gives you that un-real feeling, the turn that you call your own, you can always find traces of the god of drifting. As for these tickets, it can only be assumed that one pair of these sacred items should be offered as a sacrifice. If given these tickets, I will find go on this journey to deliver the tickets. I will climb the tallest mountain, descend the deepest valley, cross raging rivers , if only to catch one glimpse of the god of drifting, and deliver the tickets.

  33. georgeg October 24, 2008 6:02 pm

Jesse, thank you for the submission. FYI, I am married and she’s going to want alot more then that for a gift. ;)

  34. AMY October 24, 2008 9:59 pm

    Airline tickets to LA: check.
    Couch to surf on: check.
    Tickets to the event: ??????
I’ve bought my airline tickets already and I’m traveling from Virginia to go to the Red Bull Drifting World Championship. I watched the Formula D live feed on mogulus.com when I wasn’t able to attend events and refreshed edrft.com for updates during final rounds. I want free tickets! (please ^^) Help me out, edrft! :) -Amy

  35. Matthew Clarke October 24, 2008 10:08 pm

I would like the pair of tickets for my younger brother and his friend. They both live up in Toronto Canada and love drifting to death. So if they can get the tickets, i know it would make there year. Thanks, Atonio from speedhunters.com told me to hit this site up. thanks again. Matthew.C

  36. Jennifer Weidinger October 24, 2008 11:39 pm

I want to bring my girlfriends to watch the Redbull Drifting World Championship since my fiancé just got word that he has been granted a FD license for 2009, so I want to take them there to show what drifting is all about!!

  37. Louren October 25, 2008 7:23 am

My friend and I are flying down from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to cheer on some of my fellow competitors. The flight down and hotel room are already taking up pretty much our entire budget, and nothing would help more than getting into the event for free. Thanks guys.

  38. Robert October 25, 2008 10:33 am

Im 19 years old, and i just recently self financed a sema build which is in turn my daily driver. In vegas i will most likely sleep in the trailer that the car will be brought in. I live in So Cal, and my friend Cyrus from Megan Racing asked me to go watch him drift, but even my ramen fund is pretty much tapped out.

  39. Pat October 25, 2008 11:28 am

Winning a pair of tickets would be awesome. I am in arizona and don’t get much of a chance to see professional drifting unless i go to socal. These tickets would make it easier for me to be able to get to the event, being one less expense as part of my 8 hour drive to california. I love coming out there for drifting evnets but it definitely leaves me with a light wallet.
When i can’t make it to the socal drifting events I check Edrift.com for the coverage of the events because they do the best and most complete coverage for all the popular drift events. Thanks guys!

  40. dmoney October 25, 2008 2:41 pm

Jesus told me I NEED this tickets in a dream.

  41. Jason [LBC] October 25, 2008 3:31 pm

Oh man I’ve been dreaming about a drift competition at the ports for the longest time now, like how sick would that be?! I go to Round 1 Formula D every year downtown Long Beach where the Long Beach Grand Prix is held every year.. I wouldn’t want to miss this for the world. Money is tight and it’s simple as that.. If I can save a guest and I some money for this awesome event, that would be GREAT!

  42. ben bowers October 25, 2008 5:59 pm

i just wanna see some drifting and free tickets would be dope.

  43. Guy October 25, 2008 6:10 pm

Plain and simple, I want tire in my face.

  44. CJ October 25, 2008 6:40 pm

    1. Because we’re in a recession.
    2. Because I couldn’t make it to the finals at irwindale. :(
    3. I will still buy my own, but its the glory of winning that I want.
    4. I want to make out with Rhys Millen.

  45. Axle October 25, 2008 8:58 pm

Because I am the best drifter I know and need to be knocked down a peg or two.

  46. Robert October 26, 2008 3:38 pm

who doesn’t want free tickets? and i probably wouldn’t go if i didn’t win them. and Also I’m way more awesome than that Joshua Guild character. i hear he likes men:)

  47. Chris October 26, 2008 11:10 pm

I want free tickets becuase i would like to save some cash for suspension parts on my project. I have been going to every drift event possible and soon would like to be in many myself. I COULD USE THE EXPOSURE!!!!! JUST DO IT… Im going anyway you might as well give me VIP tickets!!!!

  48. Calvin October 27, 2008 11:47 am

I want to experience a real drift show live for once instead of watching it on tv. =]

  49. Lee October 27, 2008 3:26 pm

Living in the MidWest It would be great to finally see a drifting event such as this. I’m a new found fan and unfortunately can only view this sport through images and video, so going to a major event like this would really be thrilling. Also Antonio from SPEEDHUNTERS.com recommended this so coming from him I’m sure it will be fantastic. This is also a great opportunity to open up this sport to new fans from all over this nation, just like me.

  50. Ethan October 28, 2008 8:02 am

I’ve been into drifting and i’ve have never seen it done in real life, and i really dont have the money to buy tix. I want to start drifting myself, and this would be a great chance to see what it takes.

  51. Danny Martinez October 28, 2008 10:42 am

I need these tickets more than anybody…Ever since my son and I saw “Tokyo Drift” we’ve been hooked. The crazy hot girls and the incredible cars! To see it live and up close would be awesome!!!

  52. Nick October 28, 2008 11:25 am

Please choose me, I need these tickets. I want to get smoke in my eyes and rubber in my teeth. I really want to see some top notch drifting. I’m bearly making ends meat and If I don’t win tickets, then I’ll have to break in. By the way, Antonio from SPEEDHUNTERS.com sent me.

  53. Lilmanie Petamar October 28, 2008 1:34 pm

This would be the greatest gift that I could ever give my boyfriend, We are from Minnesota and he is learning how to drift right now but because of how expensive the sport is and he’s been having difficulty with his car… He has an orange Nissan 240, he has never been to Cali either so I decided to bring him for his birthday and now that there’s a drift event it works out great because I had no idea… I think this would be a dream come true for him… The best part is that he has no idea about this trip!!!! He really idolizes these drivers and promotes the sport like no other…. Trust me out of all the fans that you could possibly give the tix too…it should be him!!!!!

  54. brian werner October 28, 2008 2:51 pm

    I AM CANADIAN.

  55. AJ October 28, 2008 9:06 pm

I really need these tickets because my friends and I really enjoy watching drifting…we can sit around and watch hours of drifting videos on youtube…truth be told…we dont have enough money to spend on tickets so if we cannot find free tickets..it looks like we would have to watch it on the internet…and that would be nothing new because we have never attended a live drifting competition.

  56. Jack Yi October 29, 2008 12:19 pm

I would love to go plus I can get you guys free parking at the Hyatt next door to the convention center. ;D

  57. adam kwan October 29, 2008 12:59 pm

I want a pair of free ticket because this is my first time going to a international drifting competition and also in november is me n my girlfriend 3 years annervesary.it would be so awesome if i can get a pair of ticket and take her to a awesome drift show.

  58. Brian Cuison October 29, 2008 2:21 pm

Don’t have enough money. Spent too much on track events, tires, gas, and books for college. Actually, I wouldn’t go. I’d give these tickets to some friends who haven’t seen drifting live before and let them enjoy it.

  59. Paul October 29, 2008 3:28 pm

I just recentally had a baby… been hel[ping my budddy build his 240 with an rb25 in it… we go to alot of events here on the east coat as well as car shows…. but now that i have a baby…. and mommys not around i dont know when the next time im gnna be able top afford a trip to go and see one….let alone if i can go at all cause all the girls i klnow all do the same thing we do….

  60. Denzil Villarico October 30, 2008 9:22 am

I’d like to get a pair of these tickets for my brother and me since we’ve been in the drift scene since before its popularity in the U.S in 2000. My brother has gone to practices at Thunderhill Park Raceway and is looking to compete professionally one day. I myself am actually saving for a drift project car myself. We’ve also attended every single Formula D event at Infineon Raceway since 2004.

I’d be easily willing to drive down to southern California from Northern California just to watch six hours of drifting (mind you it’s a 300+ mile drive from my house to Long Beach). It definitely would be a great experience and one that’s worth documenting with photographs and HD video.

  61. joshera November 1, 2008 5:50 pm

I believe I am deserving of these tickets because i have a tattoo on my soul that says DRIFT ME BABY.

  62. kelvin arreola November 2, 2008 12:47 am

i am competing for my formula d license at this event and i would like to get some tickets for my friends and family so they can watch me attempt to get my license. i have spent sooo much money and borrowed money to get my car ready and for safety equipment.

  63. JJ Alfano November 2, 2008 1:41 am

Because I’m crazy enough to drive across the country from Atlanta to Long Beach to watch the world’s top drivers compete in the motorsport that put me on welfare!

  64. Terisa Stevenson November 2, 2008 11:27 pm

I would love to score some free tickets. Ive been to Vegas track and irwindale. Long beach seems new and exciting. Im going either way. But who doesnt want to save money, right?

  65. Hunter Senftner November 3, 2008 2:32 pm

Tell Ryan to flow me these tickets or give me a media pass so I can come and video the event and include it in my documentary on the entire Drift craze… check out my website primitivegroove.com/DP and see stuff I shoot at for Eurotuner and Fdrift champs.
    Peace.

  66. Katie Wagner November 4, 2008 9:34 am

I love drifting! I should get the tickets because I go to all events and love the atmosphere. I get looked down on as sush as my knowledge of cars because of my youngness and that im a girl… but trust me i know a lot more about cars than a lot of guys out there!! i want to become a prof. drifter so help me keep learning!

  67. mtx671 November 4, 2008 2:14 pm

i just move to california from guam and i have never been to a drift event and i love to get a free ticket to bring my wife and my baby girl.thanks

  68. Jeremy Fraj November 4, 2008 11:53 pm

Hey I would love to acquire tickets just like anyone else here, but the question is why do I deserve them? Well, thats simple I have a handful of reasons. First off, I’ve been living with my girlfriend and her mother for the past year, and trust me I do not even have the time and freedom to indulge in any male activities such as working on my car (e36 m3), going out with the guys, getting pissed drunk, and doing stupid things. No sir, I have been working my ass off 40 hours a week, for the past year (I’m only 18 yrs of age), and 90% of the money goes to my girlfriend because I love her so much and she satisfies me. Yes I’m crazy, and I shouldnt spoil her so much, but hey that’s my choice. Anyway, after 8 months of her finally being to able to understand my love and obsession with cars, she has finally given in and actually supports me when it comes to motor sports. She enjoys the adrenaline rush in the car @ 130 mph, the breath-taking drifting/power sliding, and the nerve wrecking street races. So now it turns out she ASKED ME to take her to this drift championship event and show her all the excitement and action packed things that go on there… and boy was I turned on and impressed by her spark of interest! Yet… right now I am flat broke, I had just bought her a diamond ring, my car a set of wheels, and her mother a birthday gift card at kays jewelers. So yep, that means I cannot even afford tickets to the event as of right now. So please, for the love of my life, please reward her and I a pair of tickets to the Red Bull Drifting World Championship. It would make my day, and give me an enjoyable weekend that I could miss work for, and enjoy my two days of manhood with my lover. Thank You. Best Regards, Jeremy.

  69. Johnny P November 4, 2008 11:56 pm

it was be a honor to Receive the tickets.
need a break from working on my mini-van, plus it would a good way to relax when the asphalt is screaming not the tires as the car slides at the apex of the turn…

  70. Nicholas Sima November 5, 2008 1:20 am

Here’s the story of why I need these tickets, one night when I was walking all alone on the way back to my crazy drift beast( mom’s Astro van) i was ambushed by a rabid group of Amish folk that warned me that there was an evil villain with en evil plot to switch all the pro drivers cars with riced out Honda’s and ghetto Fiats( all sadly FWD) and they have a plan where I had to team up with there top agent(Chuck Norris) to infiltrate the event and stop the villain… but I have to play the part of the innocent casual drift bystander so these tickets would defenitley make this part of the plan a lot easier. So you guys should help me save the Red Bull World All-Stars event and hook me up with some tickets so Chuck and I can get down to business!!!

  71. George K. November 5, 2008 1:29 pm

I want them because I really wanna go there.. If I’d have a choice to go to every FD event this year or Red Bull championship I’d choose The Red Bull championship.

And I love this website. Everythingdrift.com isthe only website you need to know whats goin on in th drifting world.

  72. Justin Suk November 5, 2008 7:37 pm

Right now I am senior in high school, I have been in love with drifting ever since i was in 6th grade. In 6th grade I saw my friend drift in his 1991 NISSAN 240sx after he worked on it for about 4-5 years on it, soon I became in love with the sport from the smell of the tires smoke to the sound of engine when roaring to even the sound of when the car is going into the hair pin turn. Some day I going to be, not soon to be or want to be, but going to be a professional drifter like Nobushige Kumakubo or Ken Nomura maybe I’ll be better than them, no offense to the fans that like the Japanese drifting teams like Team Orange or Team Blitz because I am a huge fan of Japanese drifters. And soon I am going to be the next second South Korean Drifter that going to represent my country in my 2006 NISSAN VQ35 3.5 liter V-6 350Z. Right now I’m trying to be sponsored by STILLEN pretty soon, so Vaughn Gittin jr you better be careful because there is a new soon to be South Korean drifter in town. GO KOREA AHN NYUNG HA SAE YO!!!

  73. Jason November 6, 2008 12:49 am

I am the biggest drifter fan, I go every year but this year has been really tough, I lost my job and have needed to adjust to the entire financial crisis….Please help me continue to make it a tradition to go every year to watch something that I am so passionate about.

    Thank you,
    God Bless

  74. Chris Rodriguez November 8, 2008 11:44 am

Some poeple have some good reasons on here. Well i am a huge fan of drifting, i have been to d1gp finals and formula d events and enjoy every second of them. As to why i think i deserve tickets. Well we all know times are tough but at the moment me and my girlfriend are in the process of moving into a place together and any money we have is going twards rent and deposits. Its been a while since i was able to attend an event and i would love to witness the awesome angles, smoking tires, and beautifully modded cars. There is nothing cooler then the controlled chaos that is drifting.

    Thank you for reading

    my name is Ricky Lopez
and i would be really greatful to have a pair of those tickets, i really dont have any money to be spending since i help out with the rent and the bills and barely have gas money to get me to and from work. and well i never been to a drift event but would like to finally go to one, and experiance a great time. so if by any chance you still have any tickets again i would be really greatful to obtain a pair so that i can take my mom since she became an enthusiast after watching Tokyo drift for the first time 5 months ago. well thank you for your time and consideration.

    Sincerely

    Ricky

Hello there! Im from the philippines, here in the U.S. not long ago, I’d love to get those free pair of tickets because i’ll give it as a gift to my bestfriend who scheduled his flight all the way from the philippines last years show just to be in the event but didnt make it coz there was and emergency that he had to come back right away, so this time since he’s here in the U.S., ill surprise him with those tickets, hopefully if ill get it, for sure he’ll flip! if not, its cool too.. thanks

i dont even care that they’re free that would just help out with me being able to get airfare, and motivation to book a hotel. i havent missed an episode of formulaD yet, to see the Red Bull world championships in person would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and my team mate. drift it!@!#!
