The Hungarian 2009 season Kicked Off big time!
Great track, great battles and over 4.000 spectators at the Budapest opening round. The Pro and semiPro class drivers are closer than ever. We saw superb battles from the Top 16, Ádám Kerényi was precise as always and took the win by dominating, not looking back the whole day.
The 2007 Champ was not the perso to beat this weekend, although his suspension broke on Friday. After two [ractice runs he had to cut out early from practice. On Saturday it was clear who it was to beat the field. János “Radír” Radák, the 2008 Champ was not of the best luck over the weekend. Having only finished prepping the the car that Saturday at 2 am. Only to have his skylines suspension break in the battle of the Top 16.
Miki Dénes with his AE86 – S2000 conversion had a great day, only with small problems that affecyed his steering. Affecting him so bad that he took 2nd place for the weekend. Péter Szekeres took the third place spot by showing highly dynamic drifting all day long.
The second class / SemiPRO drifters also had a great race in the front of the large audience. Sándor Zentai took the overall win in the semiPro class. Tking first in front of Tamás Péter and Gábor Galacs.
We can not wait to the second round at Máriapócs, RabócsiRing on the 1st of June.
