Round 7 was nothing short of excitement as the the top several drivers were all within fingers reach of the championship. I was lucky enough to get a ride along with Rookie Zoltan Hadju during Thursday practice and interview him after, but the real excitement came down to the top 16 when the gloves came off and few cars kissed the wall ending their season’s, one of them being Rhys Millen going against the Ninja, Daigo Saito. It comes as no surprise that there was some tension in the last battle as Justin Pawlak and Daigo went head to head, and eventually Daigo winning the event and the series. Overall standings for the season coming in second was Vauhn Gitten and finishing Third was Rhys Millen. Next year Formula Drift will be celebrating a decade of Drifting and nothing short of heart pounding will be guaranteed. Here is my coverage from Round 7
