X Games 14: Tanner Foust Moves Into Rally Finals Gets The Silver

Posted on August 3, 2008 by George

Tanner Foust moves into the finals at X-Games 14.  Going head to head with Travis Pastrana, a repeat of last years semi-final.  Travis holding the 07′ gold medal and Pastrana with the 06′ gold medal.

A Great run ensues between both, Tanner hitting the wall on entrance to the paved road and causing him to slow down almost immediatly at the start of the first lap, and losing to Travis by what looked to be less then 1-2 seconds.  At one point it looked like Tanner was behind by 6 seconds after the initial impact.  Travis having his own wall kisses later in the course but maintaining speed.  Tanner kept it hard on the petal and was able to make up some time but it just wasn’t enough.   For full results visit ESPN.com
