I want tix! Reason being is that I live in LA! I love FD! I love drifting!why else is there!
I would love to win the tickets! First, I’ve never been to a drift show and been always a huge fan of them through videos and friends. A friend of mine lives in Vegas and I would love to surprise him with these tickets! He even has his on car toy! 🙂 Thanks!
Why?… Because i love drifting, i love the smell of burning rubber and i love getting slideways… I’ve already made plans to go down to my moms house which is 15 mins from the track and i would rather watch people having fun and enjoying being out side and getting loud. I would rather be there doing that than watching antiques road show with my step dad. I now live in yucca valley, ca, (out by palm springs) and i havent had a chance to get to a show in a while now with work and life but since im already going down there i figured should try to win some tix so i can live a little and get outside… PLEASE PICK ME!!!!!
Ive wanted to go to forumla drift after moving to america from england and hearing about it through a friend in 2003 but every time irwindale or long beach rolls around i end up short on cash or without a way there, this time the economy has hit me and my family even harder that it has before and im unable to get out there, hopefully this i’ll be able to win this time so i will finally be able to go to an event.
We’ll I’ve been in and around drifting for nearly 5 years. Worked events. Staffed, I have crewed, volunteered and at one point I think I might have been paid for it. Haha. I love the sport I wish I could experience the sensation and excitement these machines are capable of producing.
you see the story starts off like this, my friends and i used to always go out and drift, toge, canyon runs, but everybody moved away, one person moved back to the islands and some other people just got out of the sport, i think if i was able to take some of them to an event like this, they might want to climb back into the sport, and i have never been to a big event and have been wanting to experience it for a long time. thanks
i think i deserve the tickets because i been into drifting my hole life and i been to see amateur drifters but i never seen pro-drifting and also because my dream is to work around drift cars and just be with the drivers and have fun doing what i love the most. And if i were to win these tickets i would have a chance to see how real drift events work.thanks
i think i deserve these tickets because ive been into drifting since before i turned 16 and being around drifting is somthing i would like to do for the rest of my life, also its my birthday october 16th and ive never been to a professional drifting event or to california Thanks
im a amture drifter thats been in tha scene since 2000 i luv jdm cars and got a s14 lookin to put 6 gs in and become a pro drifter , i ve been racing since i got my licence illegally n legal so i know the scene good , my email is getsumehead@yahoo.com , phne 909 957 59 54 , i live in ontario by the california speed way i go to irwendale alot
and im promoting formula drift went to a club on friday and put flyers on cars
i would really like to win these tickets because it is what my friends and need to get back into the sport and get sliding again. i never been to a pro formula d event and would really like to go to one.
I would gladly love these tickets to be mine. Ive grown up with the track for about seven years going to buttonwillow the skid pad in willow springs and much more i love it when i walk on to that hot pavement of burning tires. My first car when i was 17 was a hatch S13 the feeling of taking that car to the edge of having that control in ur grips is some thing u cant describe. i wanna have that feeling of stepping out on that track next to Gutch and other respected drivers. I love when u guys give the best frekin show in long beach also in irwindale. If u give me this chance i seriously wont know wat to say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
love to take my family to show them what i love fam of 5 and im 24 love the drift seen im in the process of buildin a 91 hatch in maine not to many around maybe even the first
I dont believe there is a better sight than a built car getting sideways only inches from the opponent. Chunking tires at the crowd while letting their motors scream wild and letting everyone know that it’s do or die. Seeing this head to head battle take place gets the adrenaline pumping and nerves start to fall apart. The anticipation of a crash is always a thrill. Of course we are always hoping that the drivers involved are ok but at the same time I love the carnage of these beautiful machines laying in bits on the black playground. I love to picture my car out there and being able to compete against these pro drivers. It gives me the initiative to work harder and build a car that others might look at in the same way I admire all of the Formula D cars. I cant wait for “Judgment Day”.

I’m Tim Denzler I’m 18 and I deserve the round 7 Formula D tickets because, I been into drifting for a while I go to Adams Motor sports Park every Thursday to watch the drift!! and just started going on Fridays to practice my self!! I just bought a Nissan 240sx hatch and omg its crap… I love the car but it needs so much work the dude who sold it to me screwed me over!! And after pulling the motor and replacing some things I was driving it for a week loving it then a day at Adams now I have a rod knock!! So I’m uber low on money and really want to go see who the pros do it in Irwindale California!! Please pick me!! Thanks
I want those tix cause I always mention this site to my friends. And they love it. And of course i love drifting.
I have never experienced something so suspenseful, not knowing what is going to happen next, watching one, only inches away from his opponent. I want to see more. I would love to see the beautiful moment when everything stops….except for the spinning wheels on that beautiful beast as I sit in the stands breathing in the unique aroma of burnt rubber and asphalt. I’ve seen Supercross, I have a few dirtbikes, I have a ZX 6R street bike, I’ve rode quads, Been through the Three-Wheeler phase, I’ve gone 140 in my car on a straight strip, and I have watched street bike stunting over and over, now all I need is Formula Drift!!! All of my very close friends have gone and I would love to say that I have as well, but with working full-time and going to college full-time, I have no money… Definitely the story of my life… I am hoping to go this year if I can make it work. I honestly think that I deserve to see this “Judgment Day” at Irwindale. It’s very calming to watch all of the competitors, even on YouTube. With 42 Drivers in Formula Drift’s competition, the agony, of thinking I might not be able to go, is killing me. Please please please pick me. There are seven of us who want to go and hopefully we can win some of these tickets!!! Check me out on myspace.com/ilovemysisteralina to learn more about me = )!!!
Thank you so much (even if I don’t win) you are all awesome!!!!
XoXo

My 16 year old grandson intoduced me to drifting at the first drift event at Irwindale years ago. I am 57 and he and I have not missed an event that is anywhere near since. He just got a Nisan 240 and has been going to a couple local tracks drifting it. He is tearing his car up a little but loves it. I would love to win the ride along and tickets for him, it would really make him and myself very happy
I would love for my husband Ron to have this experience. He is always putting our children and myself first. It brings great joy to me watching him while we are at the races. He actually gets to relax and enjoy himself. With the type of work he does he doesn’t have the pleasure of being able to relax
I just wanna experience what it feels to keep it sideways.I love play a lot of racing games but at the same time I hate it because I no im missing the best part of it and thats the feel of the car.The feeling of the G’s when it hits a corner sideways or tight. If i had the money I start right away on making a drift for and hit the tracks for some practice :3 But who knows how long that will be DX
btw u guys should either have the D1gp game, initial d or maximum tune games at the events for side cash >.> check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX5xl3f1gIU
Ive always wanted to be a drifter and live life sideways. I bought a car and started upgrading it so i could join an amateur team but my dad was diagnosed with a rare disease and all my time and money went to him to keep him going. Somewhere in that mess i lost my dream and this would just make up for all the hard times me and my family have gone threw together. I’m not going to say i deserve this but it would be a real plus to be able to experience this once in my life. Thank you…
I would love to win these tickets! I first met my husband while into the car scene and he introduced me to drifting. Ever since then we’ve been watching it and wanting to go to the events. Finally for round 6 we got tix to go. It was awesome. What better way to celebrate our anniversary and end the drift season then in winning free tix?? Also about 4 years ago I helped my hubby buy his second s13 and a year later I bought a fastback. The drifting scene definitely helped us bond and grew our relationship into what it is now. If it weren’t for cars and drifting who knew what we would be driving or doing?! 🙂
im cooler then all these people, and i love mexican s named george
Riley, dont be a kiss ass! Also, I’m not mexican. 😉 I am central American though. Let you figure it out from there. LoL
I’ve been going to Formula Drift events since i was in middle school ! and been to almost every Formula Drift event at irwindale ,

I have been in the drift seen since my high school years got my 240 then..
I was lucky enough to make out to most of drift events out here from irwindale to longbeach fontana.
Support Adams track also on thursday when I can.
I could really use the tickets and would appreciate them
Before I was even 16, I was growing up watching Option videos and Best Motoring, through the years I went through 5 240sx’s trying to perfect my drifting/gymkhana/circuit racing skill level going to every grassroots event I could enter. In 2003 when I flew from D.C. to San Fransisco and then drove all the way down to Irwindale to see the first D1GP, it would forever impact my life (literally impacted, I was standing right behind the barrier EXACTLY where Nobuteru Taniguchi crashed) In addition to all the engine sound, tire smoke, and awesome display of driving prowess, the sheer energy of just being in the crowd was unimaginable. I wanted to be a bigger part of it. I knew from there on out I wanted to make racing, and particularly drifting my life goal. A short year later I instead joined the Marines with my friends to fight a different cause; and being deployed so often, I couldn’t pursue the racing career I dreamt of. Now that I finished my duty, it would be great to ride along with one of the pros on the track I dreamt about and never got a chance to drive on myself, but hopefully one day will. I love Formula D, I always believed they fully support the industry and are helping it grow, especially by doing great things like this ride along, and now that I live in San Diego I always go to every FD event in L.A. See you guys on the 16th!
I would love to get the chance for a ride along once again. Back in 2006, I one a pair of tickets to a drift competition out here in Irwindale, CA as secodn prize. First prize was having your own car fixed up in front of everyone at the show. Anyways, I got free tickets, free backpack, and was signed up for a ride along. Unfortunately, my dad and I had to leave before we got a chance to see the show or for me to go my ride along because my aunt had just passed away that morning. My mom was the one to give us the news since she was taking care of her. This year, I don’t have much money, but I would love to attend. I want to get a chance to take my little daughter and introduce her into the drift/import scene along with my girlfriend. PLEASE PICK ME! Last time I went was two years ago. One year before my girl got pregnant and she loved the show. Her favorite driver is Vaughn Gitten and Sammuel Hubinnette.
Hi, my name is Zach Meister, I’m 16 years old form Southern California. I’ve been into drifting since before the first sanctioned D1GP came to Irwindale Speedway, and I had to go! Ever since I’ve been to every southern california drift event with my family ( whom I have gotten addicted to drifting! haha! ) and now I even drift myself. I try to go to the track as much as possible to drift my own car and enjoy the sport for what it is.
Thank you for reading this !!!
Hi there! My son lives and breathes Drifting. He wants to visit Japan to go drift, and he dreams of having a house in Japan because he watches videos and wants to drift drift drift! The kid is a huge fan! He has been drifting at Adams Cart Track in his 240, and he would be so absolutely thrilled to win tickets or a ride along. When we go to the events, we have the best time! The cars, the smoke, and the flakes of rubber all over us…. it’s so much fun!!!! Please consider us for the tickets or ride along, either would be appreciated so much! Thank you!
Why I deserve the tickets. I make it a point to start an argument with every Nascar, Offroad, pretty much every race car enthusiast. I then attempt to prove to them why Drifting is better then every other type of racing. Example of an argument I had with the Service Writer at Good Year. “Tony your telling me that watching 40-50 year old men driving around in a circle is exciting. Sure the cars are massive machines with tons of power. I get the 200mph, 3 wide into a turn thing, i really do. But come on. Have you seen drifting? Ok imagine this. 80 mph, then purposly throwing your car into a massive powerslide around a high speed bank. You’ve been to Irwindale, so you know the bank. Your in the stands and your choking on tire smoke. Now imagine two cars doing it side by side. The whole point of the race is to let it slide out of control, but in control. And the chicks are way hotter. And tickets are not $75 dollars a pop. You still want Nascar, how about a Scion with a TRD Phase 9 engine. RWD conversion! 500+ hp going sidways. Did I tell you the chicks are hotter?!” Of coarse i do all this with tons of hand movements. It’s alot more discriptive in person.
Oh ya, btw. I’m a hot 18 year old female with big boobs. So do I win?
I deserve/need the tickets because im a BROKE ASS, 6th year, college student that has always loved and enjoyed the sport, but have always been to broke to do anything about it.. :'( please help
i want the tickets because i havent been to been to a fd event since last judgement day last year, and im probably going to miss this year because i have to pay for expensive ass school and text books! weak. im also saving up for some go fast parts for my 240sx so help a broke brotha out with some tickets so i can take my lady out shes complaining we never go anywhere.
I have a need for speed. My turbo IS300 and YZF are not enough! I bought tickets for a bunch of my friends to the Red Bull drifting world championship because many had never even seen drifting before and I wanted them to get a taste of the action live, where the tires meet the track and the rubber fills the air. I’d love to get a set of tickets to share once again with those who just don’t know what they are missing.~
i think i deserve those tickets because i am a really BIG fan of formula D. i live in a small boring town named moreno valley. where there is no excitement!!! i love the sound of squealing tires on the pavement and the smell of burning rubber!!! just watching gets your adrenaline rushing through your viens! there is nothing better than watching a beautiful car swing sideways around the corner! i went to the one in long beach with some friends and now i would like to bring some more friends so they can experience this work of art! plus i do it myself once in a while lol! that is why i deserve those tickets! i live to drift and cars is my life!!!
i think i should win these tickets because i have never seen this type of action! i have guy friends that have told me about it and i would like to eperience it! i am a girl that loves cars and seeks excitement!!! not only that i think cars are sexy!! simply put i want this event to be my first! PICK ME!!! 😉
i want these tickets because i’ve seen videos on youtube and my boyfriend loves it!!! but now i would like to take him for our anniversary!!! it is on the exact date the compition is on! plus it will be my first time too! i like the excitement it creates and the adrenaline it gives you!! now with economic crisis it would help wining these tickets and with the money i save my boyfriend and i can go eat dinner after the event!! it would also be nice to go to a differnt place and go out! that is why i think i deserve those tickets and by doing so you will make our anniversary BIG, fun, and exciting making both of us happy and filled with excitement!!! 🙂 thank you for your time!!!
I deserve the tickets because I am a regular attendee to all local drift events! I have gone to every FD, D1GP and Red Bull Drifting Championship event since 06. I’ve gone to the ones in long beach, aneheim, Irwindale and occasionally Adams park in Riverside! I would really appreciate a pair of tickets because it would help out with me trying to save up for a RWD car! Not shure what to get yet. Either a S13-S14, 350Z, G35 or FD RX7 for a track/drift car! Ugh cant wait to start sliding around! lol So please pick me! Every little bit I can save up would really help! + I graduated from UTI FormulaDs official technichal school and I’m curently working at an auto parts store working my way up to a tech position! So that should show my passion towards cars since I turned it into my career! Thanx! PLZ PICK ME!

As many of us can agree, it’s been hard to maintain a relationship with the automotive industry as constricted as it is. There are some of us with no money to play on a car. There are some of us with barely enough to see a motorsport event. Then, there are those of us who are so specialized in this industry but are facing so many difficulties trying to find a job. We can even see the industry struggle to be available to the masses. With the shortage of print magazines advertising has changed. Do you remember when Modified Magazine used to be a “Novel”? Now it’s down to less than 100 pages greatly limiting event coverage. Even consumer support is changing due to the emphasis on global warming, Hybrids and the governments’ buyback program. In times like these, we need to rebuild and maintain support for this shrinking industry. Thus, I want to win these tickets to introduce new viewers to the scene. Ken Block has struck them curious with the Gymkhana craze and I believe they should experience the excitement in person to get them hooked.
(Damn it, Am I too late?)
Why: because I came 7th in the finnish championship 2009 and hopefully in the near future I will be there and compete against the other drivers. These tickets would I like to have so It would make me to come over and learn from the other PRO drivers. Have a nice day.
