So, as most of you know, Dean Kearney was recently in Seattle Washington doing work with the boys over at Intec Racing to prep the Intec Racing s14 for Formula Drift Irwindale this weekend. eDRFT.com‘s Ross Fairfield & MotorMavens.comYoshi Shindo we’re on sight to capture some of the behind the scenes testing and rebuild of this car to drift readiness. Follow the shots below as we give you a little insight on the Karnage taking place.
Here is Dean Kearny, his signature off center streak in his hair. If you see him at Irwindale, ask where it came from.
Dean and Ian with the car on the dyno. The car made about 480Whp, then blew up the next day during testing. The motor was then rebuilt with a one off s13.4 2.2L SR motor.
Dean during the test day was slowly getting used to the car, the power, and the bank of Evergreen Speedway.
As you can see. The Maxxis MA-Z1’s were smoking up ALOT. it got to the point that Dean couldnt see inside the car and had to drive with his windows down in order to clear the smoke out faster.
Yoshi Shindo from Motor Mavens got this super sweet shot of Dean in the car. Looks cool to see some of the interior on the visor.
Dean is Currently in Socal with the car, ready to hit the track at Irwindale and show the Americans how they do it up in Ireland. I for one, cannot wait till Saturday!! Its definately going to be a Formula Drift event for the record books. Look for more from both EverythingDrift.com and MotorMavens.com on the upcoming Formula Drift event.
