The final round of the season took place at the Sanair race track that is just south of Montreal. It was a cold weekend but action packed. Being the final event the top pro am drivers were invited out to compete but instead of having a top 32 event it was a top 16 event which added pressure to qualifying since if you were not on your A game you were going home early. Practice/Qualification day was interesting. Mike Pollard had engine problems early on taking him out. Phil Bruyere and Pat Cyr both had crashes taking them out. In qualification we saw Alex Michaud once again get top stop. Francis Tasse qualified second followed by Marc Landreville. The next day there was even more issues.
DMCC was back at the RiverSide Speed way for the 3rd time for the 7th round of competition. To make things different compared to the last rounds the track was ran backwards. It proved harder then most drivers thought shown by Nicolas Lorange who took his car hard into the wall after initiating too fast. He was ok and amazingly his team was able to get the car fixed in time to make it out for qualifying.
RD6 took place at the Montmagny race track. Eric Paradis was able to score top qualification points his first ever. Dave Briggs qualified 2nd and Jeff Laflamme 3rd.
DMCC rd5 took place at the Riverside speed way in Ste Croix Quebec. Dave Briggs took home the win . Francis Tasse came in 2nd putting him in the lead for the championship and Tanner Munson came in 3rd Click any of images or link HERE to check out full album.
