King Of Europe Drift Series in you guessed it. Europe :)
Adam Kerenyi wins Again in Italy Second Round of Monster Energy King of Europe Drift ProSeries
The race for the championship is heating up, even though this was just the second round of the 2014 Monster Energy King of Europe Drift ProSeries. After two days of practice on the Castelletto di Branduzzo race track, the main action was set for today, with qualifying early in the morning and the Top32 later on in the afternoon.
The three series judges were not going to have it easy, even though the number of drivers that came to Round 2 was approximately the same as the number of drivers in Austria. Settled in italian territory, and with thousands of italian fans on site, it was clear that local drivers were having high expectations on the final result. If Adam Kerenyi dominated the qualifying session in Austria, this time the odds were in favour of Benjamin Boulbes, who took 1st place overall.
Francesco Conti at Round 1 of King of Europe
Lugano, Switzerland, 7th of May
After a highly successful drift season in 2013, where Francesco Conti has won both the Individual Title and the Team Title, the italian driver has decided to start all over again, and aim for the same result, while having to go up against even more pro drifters from all across Europe. With 2014 being the 10th season anniversary for King of Europe, round 1 of the ProSeries was scheduled to take place in the city of Greinbach, in Austria.
Francesco Conti has brought out the same championship winning machine, his faithful supercharged BMW M3 E92 GT4, now developing about 650 horsepower. For 2014, Francesco Conti will be joining forces with two very well known companies in the automotive industry: Liberty Walk from Japan and Forgiato Wheels from the USA. The infamous Liberty Walk wide bodykit will be installed on the car starting with round 3, and at the same time the car will be sitting on some breath-taking Forgiato Wheels, a special edition made for Francescos car. The temporary design displayed at round 1 will be changed to something much more eye-catching, a design which will be the work of a famous car graphic designer, who has also designed other extremely well know professional drift cars around the world.

Austria made its appearance in the King of Europe calendar for the first time back in 2013, and it was selected as the first round of the series. The PS Racing Center in Greinbach was the host of the event, and what a great event it was! Due to the high success it recorded at the time, it was decided that 2014 would start off in the same place. Drivers started pulling in as early as friday morning, and they were assuming positions in the large paddock of the PS Racing Center. A total of 10 pre-registered drivers wouldn’t eventually make it to the race, due to last moment mechanical failures, but still, the paddock was pretty crowded as it was.
