Jack Shanahan: BMNissan Car Feature

We will end our week of articles about Jack Shanahan with a look his car, the BMNissan.

Jack has a Nissan S14 powered by a BMW 3.2 litre M3 Evo engine with an Owen Developments / Garret GTX3588 turbo.

The straight six engine was built by DeaneMsport with ZRP conrods, Wasnor pistons, custom inlet and exhaust manifolds from West Coast Performance.

The engine produces 550BHP, a gearbox from a 350z and a GTR V-Spec diff put that power through to the rear wheels.

A set of Driftworks C2 Coilovers paired with a Wisefab front lock kit & rear suspension kit, give this car plenty of grip and steering angle.

The styling on this car is thanks to the Aerokit X8 bodykit, the huge arches extending way beyond the original line of the cars body.

The car runs Rota GTR wheels and Nexen Tyres on all four corners.

The interior has been fitted with a roll cage from J&J Racefab, OMP bucket seats, a Nardi steering wheel and the usual safety cut offs etc.

    Mitchellol yes, yes it would. But you can’t fault the dedication of the family to let their two kids (yes, kids) go out racing and do what they love. Also, wasn’t it only last year that Jack’s dad was helping to fix a competitors car, even giving them their own inutes time out in order to get them on the grid?! I don’t care what you have in the bank, with that kind of work ethic and sportsmanship you’re ok in my book.
