Casper Canul has been MIA from the drift world for quite some time. The 2007 #10 Formula Drift driver was slated to run the Formula Drift series this year, but at the last moment went missing. After several sponsor issues and many other goings ons and ups and downs. This driver is far from gone from the drift world we all know. He actually has been busy inside and outside the United States, spreading his hispanic influence abroad and still close to home. From Singapore for a Formula Drift competition to Tijuana, Mexico keeping his Mexican heritage in the know, to the Dominican Republic teaching and spreading what he knows on how to drift in a drift competition he helped Judge and put on. Not only was it a competition, it was a competition against Puerto Rico’s best against the Dominican Republic’s best and still developing drivers. To catch up on what he did down in TJ, read the article here. To see what he did out in the Dominican Republic check out the full story here at SpeedTV.com.
Where will Casper be next? Check him out at this upcoming weekends competition in Mexico, with Formula Drift as Formula Drift helps spread more of the drifting culture to the world. What will Casper be driving you might wonder? His s14 as pictured above. Look for the candy blue non-vinyled car with the big Mexican Flag slapped on the car showing where hes from and where hes driving.
This is a 7 minute video from the Dominican Republic event.
What wasn’t said, that he is out of monster fab… not on good terms either.
