Y. Kondo, with a nice line and speed through the run. Gold AE86 is what he has with an entry speed of 80mph. Drops a tire on the teardrop and maintains angle. Scores a 85.92 for the run.
Ross Petty, with a nice entry, speeds in at 87mph. Holds a consistent line and angle through out the course. Scores a 88 from the judges.
S. Papadakis, comes in fast at 97.1mph and has a great entry. Has to slighlty correct to avoid going off course but maintains a good speed and solid angle. Scores a 84.17 from the judges.
Pat “Juicebox” Mordaunt, comes in hot and fast. On entry to the first clipping point loses drift and scores a -0- for the run.
Hiro Sumida, comes in with some great speed and angle on entry in the Lexus Falken/America’s Tire. Spins the car prior to the first clipping point. -0- for the run.
Quoc Ly, with a stutter drift on entry with a entry speed of 91mph. Judges will score low as lots of small corrections on entry. 69.17 score from the judges. Quoc will not make Top 16 today.
Blake Fuller, with a nice entry angle. early initiation and a speed of 86mph. A little off from the first clip but maintains a consitent angle and speed. Scores a 84.73 from the judges.
JT Wharerau, with a great line on entry. 92 mph entry and runs a great line for the course. Judges score are 87.92 for the run.
Tony Angelo, in the Maxxis tires Mazda rx8. Entry speeds of 89.4mph and a shallow entry angle causing him to over shoot the first apex and spins out. -0- for the run.
Tony Brakahopia, in the Team X Ford Mustang with a slight delay due to a clutch change. Comes in with a speed of 89mph, and running on a new clutch is not able to avoiud a spin on entry is this was his only run to qualify.
T. Yoshioka, with a very early initiation and good angle through the entire course. Entry speed of 89mph. Scores a 89.83 from the judges.
M. Haraguchi, with an entry speed of 86.9mph and has a big correction on entry into the teardrop. Scores a -0- from the judges.
Bill Sherman, showing again that he is “wild”. Entry speed of 97mph and comes in fast and with a nice angle. Hits both clips and puts out tons of smoke. Good scores from the judges giving him a 95.42
Justin T. Pawlak, with some engine issues not able to initiate a drift. Drives out the course and does a parade lap.
Kenji Yamanaka, with an entry speed of 90mph. Holds a good line and speed. Scores a 90.25.
Taaka Aono, with a wide entry and a big correction entry. Scores a -0- from the judges.
Kazu Hayashida, with an entry speed of 86.2mph. Good line and angle from Kazu. Scores a 89.42 from the judges.
Kyle Mohan, taking out some cones on entry and spins on the tear drop. Scores a -0-.
Ken Gushi, in the Rouge Status Scion tC. Entry speeds of 91mph and holds down a nice angle and line. Lots of smoke and on the clipping points. Scores a 93.67 from the judges.
Steph Verdier, with a entry speed of 88.2mph and holds down a nice consitent line and angle in the Seibon Subaru. Scores a 91 from the judges.
Vaughn Gittin Jr., with an entry speed of 95mph. Lots of cheers for this Falken Ford Mustang. Hits the clips and angles with alot of smoke! Scores a 93.58 for the run.
Ryuji Miki, with an entry of 92mph.Scores a 90.92 from the judges.
Robbie Nishida, 89.4mph entry speed. A little wide on entry. Is called off course, 3 tires off. Scores a -0-
Conrad Gruenwald, shuts down on entry and turns it back on.. Drifts out the course but scores a -0- as he was already in the teardrop at thte time he turned on the car.
Darren McNamara, on entry takes out 3 cones. Entry speed of 93mph. Goes past what is considered off course and scores a -0-.
Ryan Tuerck, with a good line and speed through the course. Entry speed of 89mph and is able to maintain a consistent angle though the course. Scores a 93.83 from the judges.
M. Takatori, in the Super Autobach’s Skyline. 88.6mph entry speed. Good line and angle through the course. Scores a 91.17 for the run.
Chris Forsberg, with an entry of 88mph. Lots of smoke and deep angle on entry. Maintains this through the course and gets some applause and cheers from the crowd. 94.33 is his score for the run.
Rhys Millen, with an entry speed of 97mph. The Potiac Solstice gets some good angle and Rhys maintains speed through the course. Scores a 96 for the run.
D. Yoshihara, with an entry speed of 93mph. Has a nice deep angle on entry into the first clipping point. Scores a 94.25 from the judges.
Tanner Foust, with a entry of 93.9mph. Lots of smoke and holds a great deep line and angle from clipping point to clipping point. Scores a 96.67 for the run.
Sam Hubinette, with an entry speed of 96mph. Scores a 96.42 for the run.
