JACK SHANAHAN LOOKING TO EXTEND BDC REIGN WITH THE HELP OF TURBO DYNAMICS
Turbo Dynamics Ltd is excited to announce its sponsorship of the current outright British Drift Champion, Jack Shanahan, for the 2016 season. Jack’s winning ‘BMNissan’ – a Nissan Silvia (S14) which features a BMW 3.2 M3 turbo engine, and his Nissan 180SX 2JZ VVTI (S13) will both exclusively feature Turbo Dynamics’ hugely powerful BorgWarner EFR Turbochargers for the new season, where he will be looking to extend his reign!
Jack Shanahan, at just sixteen years of age, is the youngest ever driver to secure the BDC title in British drift history. The talented youngster, who comes from County Cork, Ireland, has already gained three years of experience competing at the top level of the sport around Europe including the Drift Allstars series. His natural talent, especially for an individual of such a young age, has left the drift world in awe with SpeedHunters describing his abilities behind the wheel as being “scarcely believable.”
Turbo Dynamics will be working closely with Jack’s team of leading performance tuners at West Coast Performance to ensure his exciting new BorgWarner EFR setup gives him a competitive advantage for the season ahead. Jack’s BMNissan will be fitted with one of Turbo Dynamics’ BorgWarner EFR 9180 units which will produce approximately 900 horsepower, a dramatic increase from his 2015 setup which produced 700hp.
Turbo Dynamics are the UK’s official distributor of BorgWarner’s ‘Engineered For Racing’ series of performance spec turbochargers. The range has gained a great reputation among race fraternities around the world for performance, durability and dependability – most notably at IndyCar 500 and Le Mans.
