February 28, 2013 (Signal Hill, Calif.) -Entering the fourth year of a successful partnership, Kyle Mohan is proud to announce the continued sponsorship of his Formula Drift program by Nexen Tire America. Nexen Tire will continue as the title sponsor of Mohan’s no. 99 Nexen Tire Mazda RX-8 for the 2013 Formula Drift Pro Championship.
Mohan and Nexen Tire first teamed up for the 2010 Formula Drift championship, and have enjoyed numerous highlights in three seasons of competition together. Mohan is thrilled to continue his relationship with Nexen as the company brings new, wider rear tires to market this year.
“After three seasons together, with some highs and some lows, everyone at Nexen Tire is like family,” said Mohan. “My goal since first joining them in 2010 was to build a long-term partnership that would help them grow and help us become more competitive. Last year didn’t go as well as we would have liked but we did have some highlights and I’m honored that Nexen wants to continue supporting our program.”
Mohan’s car, unique in Formula Drift for being a Mazda that still has a Mazda engine, will continue to stand out from the crowd in Formula Drift for not only being bright purple with orange wheels, but for not sounding like the truck that brought it to the track.

The Formula Drift Pro Championship kicks off its tenth season on April 12-13 on the Streets of Long Beach in Long Beach, California.
