Francesco Conti comes out Victorious at Round 5 of King of Europe ProSeries!

  After almost 1 month after Round 4 in Poland, it was time for Francesco Conti to be on the move again, this time towards Hungary, for Round 5 of the ProSeries and Round 2 of the King of Touge, scheduled to take place in the same location, on the Belko Touge.

The Liberty Walk kitted, Supercharged M3 E92 GT4 arrived at Belko Touge Friday afternoon, just in time for the technical inspection. Even with the 95DB limit imposed, the car got cleared no problems whatsoever, thanks to preliminary tests done at the garage before coming to the event. Going into this round, Francesco Conti was sitting in 4th place overall. After taking 7 podiums in 8 events back in 2013, Francesco knew he had to make a strong comeback in this second half of the season.

Francesco Conti at Round 4 of King of Europe

Just two weeks after the event in the UK, it was time for King of Europe to move on with Round 4 of this 10th season, and the country of choice was Poland. Poland is actually where Francesco Conti made his European debut, back in 2012, even though back then the event was held on the Poznan race track. Francesco made a storming appearance, and, after claiming 2 titles in Italy, he left a solid impression by taking 2nd place, after loosing in the final battle against Maciej Bochenek.

Going back to Poland meant that the competition was going to be fiercer than ever. Francesco Conti has had several encounters with Polish drivers in the past, with different outcomes every time. After having a pretty rough start of the season, the two times Italian champion and European Champion knew he had to push as hard as possible in Poland and get as many points to help him get back on top of the rankings. With an interesting layout, especially looking at the first section of the track, which integrated a hill, on top of which the drivers would have to initiate the drift while going as close as possible to the outer wall for the perfect line, Tor Jastrzab promised to offer the drivers a more than memorable experience. Francesco Conti at Round 1 of King of Europe

After a highly successful drift season in 2013, where Francesco Conti has won both the Individual Title and the Team Title, the italian driver has decided to start all over again, and aim for the same result, while having to go up against even more pro drifters from all across Europe. With 2014 being the 10th season anniversary for King of Europe, round 1 of the ProSeries was scheduled to take place in the city of Greinbach, in Austria.

Francesco Conti has brought out the same championship winning machine, his faithful supercharged BMW M3 E92 GT4, now developing about 650 horsepower. For 2014, Francesco Conti will be joining forces with two very well known companies in the automotive industry: Liberty Walk from Japan and Forgiato Wheels from the USA. The infamous Liberty Walk wide bodykit will be installed on the car starting with round 3, and at the same time the car will be sitting on some breath-taking Forgiato Wheels, a special edition made for Francescos car. The temporary design displayed at round 1 will be changed to something much more eye-catching, a design which will be the work of a famous car graphic designer, who has also designed other extremely well know professional drift cars around the world.
