For awhile now, every drift event in the state of Washington has been pretty much at Evergreen Speedway. This may be one of the best tracks to drive on but in this world that we live on, we want variety. So on May 15th NorthwestNissans very own, Rob Primo, set up an entire event for the drifting world at Pacific Grand Prix. The track contained a staggering 14 turns of almost a mile of track. Mind you it’s not the fast action like Evergreen but it is more technical in a sense. The number of turns alone is kind of intimidating. So add it all up, number of turns + length + amount of drivers on the track, what does that all add up into? One of the greatest drift events ever in Washington. There were over 18 – 20 drivers overall that was able to drive. The original list already had 16 drivers! All of the best drivers in Washington showed up from the T.I.P. crew to the SerialNine drivers who drove from Canada to be at the event. These drivers loved the new track and loved that they had the opportunity to expand their talent onto a different venue. The event lasted from 2:30 to around 9 p.m. That’s an astound 6 ½ hours of intense drifting. What more can an audience want? Maybe the beer garden? Or how about the girls? Whatever works for you, PGP had it. Because of the turnout, we can for sure see more events featuring PGP.
