With having very little seat time over the winter months to test the new tyres and suspension set-up, there was very little time to dial the car in. I was a little cautious to how the car was going to handle in the wet conditions on its first outing. I was right to be apprehensive as there was no rear grip what so ever on entry into the first corner, which shot me into the gravel trap. Luckily there was no damaged sustained and I drove it straight out and lined it up on the back of the queue for another run. Whilst waiting for the next run down the hill I made a few adjustments to the car to move the grip balance more to the rear. The car now seemed a lot more settled and I completed the first session feeling confident.

Boss Motorsport: British Drift Championship Round 1 Review
Easter weekend saw Round 1 of the British Drift Championship with a new look Boss Motorsport for not just the cars but the whole team in the paddock, with our two new team drivers Martin Wonnacott and Ollie Elmore joining Super Pro Steve Moore for 2014.
The weekend began with a wet practice session which saw all three drivers struggling to find the grip level of the track but by the end of the session all three drivers were dialled into the track ready for qualifying. After some work back in the paddock on Martin’s 1JZ powered Chaser’s to his braking system, some minor suspension adjustments to Ollie’s Skyline and Steve’s Silvia, the team were ready to roll.
