KW DRIFT SERIES ROUND 8 – HUNGARY
Hungarian Attack
It was a good time to come back on the Mariapocs track, especcially with
the saturday night Tsuiso battles…
Once again we had the chance to have a large amount of drifters and of
course the big boys of the championship like Jasper Spaan and its big
firing SR86.
Everybody was waiting for the night and all local drifters were ready to
fight hard the foreigners.
After qualifications, Adam Kerenyi take the #1 ranking and was the
favorite for another win but things never go like we expect it! On first
round of Top32 most of the foreigners and the big boys were out (like
all the Kok family), then in Top16, Adam Kerenyi himself missed a gear
on first corner giving major advantage to his opponent.
Only Jasper Spaan manage to survive to Top8 but for him also the game
will stop at this level, like for Puci and Radir.
Since the beginning of the year, we saw the improvement of Zoltan
Lakatos, who was doing this time it’s 4th KOE race in 2008, it was no
surprise this week-end to see him going in semi-final, then final, then
taking the win against the strong Peter Szekeres!
