Round 5 of the 2016 Irish Drift Championship returned to Mondello Park, the home of Irish Motorsport. The final event of the season is always highly anticipated but this year was no different with the championship still undecided.
Fermoy, aka ‘The Concrete Jungle’, is Round 2 of the Irish Drift Championship. The track here is unforgiving, uncompromising and unforgettable.
The first round of the 2016 Irish Drift Championship was held at Mondello Park, Ireland’s only permanent circuit. In the off season there had been some huge changes that were unveiled in the run up to the event with new tarmac being laid specifically for drift events.
The 2015 Irish Drift Championship came to a close the best way possible, multiple drivers could take the title in the final round and if it wasn’t enough of a challenge they invited along some international drivers to mix it up a bit.
