Formula D Favorite Taka Aono was out at the Famous Willow Springs international Raceway Testing new setup for the 2011 season as well as helping out the guys from Meagan Racing to fine tune there new coilovers for the tried and true Corolla’s. Here’s some shots from the test day. And for you Corolla drivers out there keep on the lookout for these new coilovers coming soon. Eric O’Sullivans “Need For Speed Hot Pursuit” Corolla Vs. Live Cops
We’ve just received these exclusive shots from Team Hankook drifter Eric O’Sullivan of a recent photo launch for Need For Speed Hot Pursuit and Toys 4 Big Boys exhibition in Dublin. O’Sullivan has teamed up with giant game publisher Electronic Arts to bring elements of Need For Speed Hot Pursuit to life as part of the live action arena at one of Irelands biggest events.
EA Need for Speed™ Hot Pursuit is the official Videogame at this years show and the Live Action Arena will showcase top Irish drift driver Eric O’Sullivan as he takes on his opponent in a live cops vs. racer pursuit, not for the faint hearted! You will also get the chance to enjoy an exclusive preview of the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit videogame from EA before it even hits the shelves and experience the adrenaline and intensity of a high-speed cop pursuit for yourself! Sneak Peak – Darren McNamara’s 2009 ProDrift AE86
Our friends in the Emerald Isle sent us some quick snaps of Darren’s drift car for the 2009 Pro Drift season. The car was used last year for the ProDrift Ireland series, but has been overhauled for 2009. Darren is sponsored by Origin Europe and Compomotive wheels. Word on the street is that the wheels are 13xHUGE! Last year, the car was under 1,000 kg’s in weight, and the 4AG motor has some additional horsepower for 2009. We’ll keep you updated as we get more information.
