2 teams lined up for entry into the Red Bull World Drift Championships – USA

We are pleased to announce that the Championship was formally invited to attend the one-off Red Bull World Drifting Championship and that the invitation was accepted. As a result, two EDC teams have secured a place within the event which takes place in Long Beach, California, USA on November 15th 2008 and will be joined by other drivers from around the world.

This past weekend at Downsview Park turned out to be quite a success; proving that Castrol DMCC is ready to grow even more and make its way further out West. Worlds Best Drifters to Compete for Largest Drifting Prize Purse
LONG BEACH, Calif. July 14, 2008 Formula DRIFT, North Americas premier drifting Sanctioning Body, has partnered with Red Bull Energy Drink, the worlds leading energy drink, to create one of the worlds most anticipated drifting events ever the Red Bull Drifting World Championship. The event, which will feature 32 of the worlds best drifters, will be held on the docks at the Port of Long Beach, Calif., on Saturday, November 15, 2008.
