ProDrift Ireland 2009 Schedule & Info

Today it has been announced that the Prodrift Ireland Series will incorporate 2 new venues for the 2009 Irish national drifting championship.

Across a 5 round Championship, Prodrift have scheduled a 2009 series that will place top level drifting competitions in 5 separate venues throughout Ireland.

Beginning in Ennis Town, Co.Clare, the Prodrift Series will travel to 3 custom venues during the year whilst also placing events in Ireland’s 2 main motorsport centres, Mondello Park & Nutts Corner Racing Circuit. Continue reading →

Prodrift & Monster Energy Drink Headline The 2009 Paris Tuning Show

Today it has been announced that Prodrift & Monster Energy will headline the live action arena at the 2009 Paris Tuning Show which takes place at Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, Paris from February 19th-22nd.

World famous for its size and atmosphere, since 2005, the Paris Tuning Show live action arena has delivered some of Europe’s best motoring productions including action sports and top level motorsport displays.
Headlining the live action arena in 2006 & 2007, the Prodrift Series have contributed significantly to the success of Europe’s biggest tuning festival. With the inclusion of top international drift stars, Prodrift at Paris is now a firm favourite amongst the French tuning community. Prodrift Champions such as Eric O’Sullivan & Darren McNamara have previously performed for the Paris crowds and in 2009 it is rumoured that 17 year old Prodrift Irish and European Champion, James Deane, will participate in the event. Although the driver line-up is yet to be confirmed, Prodrift officials have not ruled out the participation of an international grid of drivers travelling to Le Bourget. Continue reading →

Team Hankook: Ireland – ’08 Recap

With Darren McNamara’s success here in the US, and the good showing from Eric O’Sullivan and James Deane at the recent Red Bull Drifting World Championships, we might need to start paying more attention to the drivers over in the Emerald Isle!

ERIC O SULLIVAN TO COMPETE WITH THE WORLD’S BEST AT LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA.

 

Following on from a very successful season competing across Europe the 2007 Prodrift Champion Eric O Sullivan has been chosen to compete at the first ever Red Bull World Drift Championships sanctioned by Formula D in Long Beach, California. O’ Sullivan was invited to take on the best in the World following his 3rd Place finish in the Prodrift European Series, which consisted of five rounds across Europe including United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland and Ireland.
