Los Angeles, CA (March 23, 2017) – For the first time in its seven-year history, Red Bull Global Rallycross will head to Canada for a championship event in 2017. On Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18, Red Bull GRC will visit Ottawa, the country’s capital, for two rounds of action at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. The event is part of the Ottawa 2017 calendar, a year-long celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.
“Ottawa represents a perfect fit for Red Bull GRC as we return to international competition in 2017,” said Red Bull GRC CEO Colin Dyne. “We’ve been fortunate to see many Canadian fans at our events in the United States over the years, and we’re looking forward to bringing our racing formula north for the very first time, and to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – March 27th – Bridges Racing is proud to announce the race support and logistics of the Worthouse Drift team for the 2017 Formula Drift Black Magic Pro Championship, presented by Blackvue. Operating out of their Huntington Beach, CA shop, Bridges Racing will be conducting race prep, on-site track support, and logistics for all eight rounds of the championship. In addition to supporting the twin Nissan Silvia S15 cars of James Deane and Piotr Więcek, Bridges Racing will continue to support Dean “Karnage” Kearney’s Dodge Viper in the Formula Drift championship.
“I’m already impressed with the professionalism of Piotr and James, and feel that they will be a great addition to the Bridges Racing roster” said team owner Bryan Bridges. “Both of them are quite accomplished in European drifting, and their experience in the sport already shows. Combined with our experience of competing in the Formula Drift series over the past six seasons, I think this partnership could be a winning combination”. Sun Valley, CA 3/17/17: Jeff Jones Racing of the US Formula Drift Championship Series is extremely proud to
announce that we have partnered up with Edelbrock performance for the 2017 FD season. We
will be running the E-Force supercharger in our fully equipped race engine from CPR. The
E-Force Supercharger will be on display under the hood and in the pits for the fans to get up
close and personal.
The 2017 kicked off with Spring Matsuri at Rockingham Motor Speedway, it’s the second time that this event has started the season following on from the success of Drift Matsuri at the end of each season.
