Bergenholtz Racing and Joon Maeng Part Ways
This was released 3 days ago but we didn’t get a chance to run this till today. We hope Joon Maeng is able to complete the season and if anyone is looking for a hard working and caring driver that they should look his way. As well I’m sure he will be looking for some much needed sponsors to complete his new Formula Drift ride that is being built. We also hope that Bergenholtz Racing is able to get the right formula and get what they are looking for. You can read the original Press Release below. Good luck to you both!
Original Press Release from Bergenholtz Racing.
“Effective immediately, Bergenholtz Racing and Joon Maeng have both decided to part ways. “Though we both gave our blood sweat and tears to achieve podiums, we still couldn’t get the formula right. In our quest to win, we realize that change must occur and sometimes that involves tough decisions. It is with great heart-felt regret that this has to happen but I believe it is the best for the future of Joon and our team.” Said Ron Bergenholtz, Team Manager of Bergenholtz Racing.

WOAH! FullTiltPoker.com Seized By FBI!!
What the headline above states is true. FullTiltPoker.com has been seized by the FBI. What does this mean for Joon Maeng and the Bergenholtz team? Only time will tell as we will keep you going as we get more info…
“On Friday, the FBI charged executives at PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and Absolute Poker with bank fraud and money laundering, cut off the flow of billions of dollars in the companies’ bank accounts, and began making arrests, turning the once-thriving poker sites into scary reminders that online gambling is illegal (though, in a jolt of irony, it could soon be legal in Washington, DC). The news has, inevitably, inspired pun-happy headline writers worldwide (be it Know When to Fold ‘Em or It’s No Bluff: Manhattan Prosecutors Shut Down the Nation’s Largest Online Poker Sites, Calling Them Three-of-a-Kind). But it’s also riled up online poker players.”

Bergenholtz Moving To Nitto Tires…
We just got info that Bergenholtz racing will be using Nitto tires on their newly bult Mazda RX-8 for the remainder of the 2009 season. We saw it in Long Beach/Atlanta under Cooper tires, but have yet to see the car on the track. We hope to see the car moving the following weekend for Round 3 of Formula Drift.
