Formula DRIFT Round 4: The Gauntlet Results; Aurimas Bakchis Fights His Way to Victory
Long Beach, Calif. – June 3, 2017 – Formula DRIFT Black Magic Pro Championship presented by BlackVue Dash Cameras returned to Wall Speedway in New Jersey for the fourth event of the season. Aurimas “Odi” Bakchis in the Falken Tire / Drifz Wheels Nissan 240 battled his way to victory.
“As we hit the half way point of the season, there’s still plenty of action left,” said Jim Liaw, president and co-founder of Formula DRIFT. “These are the best drifters from around the world and the championship is still up for grabs.”

Formula D the Most Exciting MotorSport Series on the Calendar Hands Down – A Fans Perspective
So I’m back from another weekend of Formula Drift and man, what a weekend it has been!
Those who know me, know that I’m absolutely crazy about Formula D. I follow the series around the states, and there’s almost nothing that could stop me making it to an event. I always say, it wouldn’t matter if I was homeless, jobless, or hungry, I would find a way to make it to Formula D. Luckily for me, I’m not in any such state yet, and this past weekend I was at the Wall Stadium in New Jersey for Round 4 of the 2014 Formula D Championship.
Let’s first talk about how New Jersey did as a host. I can say this without reservation: This was without a doubt the best Formula D weekend so far this year that I have been to, bar none! And that’s a pretty lofty claim. Everything just came together this weekend. The on track action, the atmosphere, the fans and the stadium itself. Wall Stadium is the perfect place to host a Formula D event, because even in the sold out crowd you could get a full view of all the action, no matter where you were sitting. It seemed like everyone had caught the Formula D bug this weekend too, because there were still fans lining up outside when Wall Stadium hit capacity. Formula D has really come in to its own as a growing Motorsport series, and its weekends like this that prove it.
2014 Formula Drift Round 4 New Jersey: Welcome to the Show!!!
My head is blistered, my cards are filled with photos and videos. Two videos have already reach the world wide web and got people excited. Then to the editing of over 800 photos down to just a few that meet my expectations and over 30 that will be there for your enjoyment. Its been 56 hours since this event started and I couldn’t be happier knowing there is still a few days left in editing video on every off minute of work there is.
