Ahead of the season there was time for the usual pre-season full nut and bolt inspection and this year I decided to re-spray the car in the team colour and the roof in my signature yellow. The mechanical improvements were done on an ongoing basis throughout last season and the car was well setup by the end of the season with little need for improvement.

With the car running absolutely superbly at round 1 no changes were needed to the car in preparation for round 2 of drift cup, after a service, wheel alignment and bolt check we set off Friday morning heading for three sisters!
My build up to the BDC Round one wasn’t what I could have hoped for after becoming ill at the beginning of the week. Luckily the S13 only needed a few little finishing touches before heading to Rockingham.
The 2018 Formula DRIFT championship swapped the tight Streets of Long Beach for round two at Orlando Speed World this weekend. And the drama began early with an incident in practice that saw Chelsea DeNofa (USA) hit the wall in his BC Racing / Nitto Tire Ford Performance Mustang RTR. He was avoiding an accident on the track but was unable to avoid the wall.
Round 1 of the British Drift Championship took place at the Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby with a custom track on their outer paddock.
