KENDA TIRE CONFIRMS IMPRESSIVE 2025 FORMULA DRIFT DRIVER ROSTER AND SIGNS THREE-YEAR EXTENSION WITH SERIES

Fredric Aasbo, Ryan Tuerck and Simen Olsen among big names joining Kenda in 2025

Kenda Tire is set for an epic 2025 season after finishing third in the 2024 Formula DRIFT Tire Cup after only joining the series the previous year. Its first priority was to sign a three-year contract extension with Formula DRIFT, signaling its long-term commitment to the teams, drivers and fans.

Step two for Kenda Motorsports was to announce its expanded 2025 driver roster, which sees several new names join their ranks, including headline acts such as three-time Formula DRIFT PRO Champion Fredric Aasbo (Norway), Papadakis Racing teammate Ryan Tuerck, as well as title challenger Simen Olsen (Norway), Daniel Stuke (USA), and recent PROSPEC graduate Austin Matta (USA).

The newbies will join returning Kenda Motorsports star drivers Ken Gushi (Japan), Jhonnattan Castro (Dominican Replublic), Nick Noback (USA), Jonathan Hurst (USA), and Derek Madison (USA). Undoubtedly, the new line up will create a big impression on the 2025 Formula DRIFT PRO Championship, hopefully helping Kenda to advance even higher in the Tire Cup standings.

Formula DRIFT Announces the Return of All 4 Major Tire Partners and 3 Tire Suppliers; GT Radial Joins Series as Tire Supplier

Long Beach, Calif. March 4, 2014- Formula DRIFT has announced the return of all 4 Major Tire Partners; Achilles, Falken, Hankook and Nitto and returning Tire Suppliers; Kenda, Maxxis and Yokohama. In addition, GT Radial signs on as a new Tire Supplier for the 2014 season.

Formula DRIFT continues to be the proving grounds for tire manufacturers. The extreme conditions created through competitive drifting pushes the limits of the drivers, cars and the tires creating the ultimate performance test for the brands. Current returning tire partners include: Falken Tire (11th season), Hankook Tire (current tire manufacturer champion, 8th season), Nitto Tire (9th season), Achilles (3rd season), Yokohama (3rd season), Maxxis Tire (3rd season) and Kenda (5th season).

OFFICIAL: ARK Performance Motorsports Team Builds Two Brand New Chassis’ For Formula Drift 2014

February 26, 2014; ARK Performance is pleased to announce the team has been working under covers on two beastly drift cars for quite some time now and is now ready to release more information on the two chassis. With knowledge gained from last year ARK was ready to build two extremely powerful Genesis Coupe Drift Cars. With the announcement of the new motorsports team and one new driver ARK is slated to make a strong comeback to Formula Drift. There are two Genesis Coupes under the ARK Performance Motorsports Team code named “AR1” and “AR7”. Both vehicles will be pushing 1,000 HP and 700 HP reliably.
