May Bank Holiday weekend and the annual visit to Japfest: Europes Biggest Japanese Car Show.
This years championship starts slightly earlier than it ever has done before which means a little bit less time over the winter to get the cars ready for the years competitions. For me, because the car finished last year reliable there wasn’t too much that needed doing to get ready for this year which was a bonus as my partner and I had a baby late last year which took up most of our time.
So with all the hype and changes that were around the British drift championship for this season we were eagerly anticipating BDC Round 1, having had a successful test day with our new Achilles Radial Tires. We were ready to rock! #Syril has had a few minor adjustments in the off season changing up to thicker 5 bolt Nissan Skyline shafts, new decals along with some extra aero namely the front splitter & top rear window spoiler – with thanks to EP Racing for the products & DLR Motorsports for fitting & making Syril look even more aggressive!
Rockingham Drift Days have been around for a while now and we have attended a couple in the past in order to see what pro divers were out testing their cars and capture some cool photos for all of you.
One cold morning in January saw us head over to Birmingham Wheels for the Drift Outlaws Seeded Day. It was a chance for drivers to prove themselves not just as skilled drifters but as entertainers with the best getting access to the coming season of Drift Outlaws events.
We don’t know how this got passed us but if you didn’t see our shots from the DriftMatsuri event. Check them out here and enjoy what RB Photography shot for us. Look for a lot more coming for 2014!!
