As we get closer to the 2018 TopDrift FD ProAM championship held by JustDrift LLC. We start to see drivers take it to a whole new level for the win. TopDrift round 3 was held at Walt James Stadium in Willow Spring International Raceway. Sunblock was a must as the weather forecast for June 2-3, 2018 was at 100 degrees with no clouds to offer shade in between.
We’re only four events into the 2018 Formula DRIFT Black Magic Pro Championship but a fourth driver climbed to the top step of the podium to claim the victory at the Wall Stadium Speedway in New Jersey this weekend. Overcoming an impressive list of challengers throughout the heats, 2017 champion James Deane (Ireland) put a mark in the win column.
After a difficult start to the season in Round 1, I had lots of repairs to do. The crash had caused significant damage to the front end. I only had 1.5 weeks to get the car prepared for the next practice session. I worked on the car every night and all weekend, finishing it the night before.

Round 2 was incredible, the car had come back from Garage-D a few days before the event with a new alignment so the practice say was going to be a huge help as I got used to the changes on the car.
Widebody Dreaming
While widebody cars are popping out left right and center these days, with amazingly tasteful ones showcasing superb talent and brilliant ideas, the scene is becoming slowly saturated with them all over the world and even though I have no distaste for widebody cars, I feel it takes a whole lot (or little) to stand out now days…which brings me to write this beautiful piece.
I would have to admit I do not believe in love at first sight, however upon seeing Zen’s Chaser parked up in all its gleaming glory down in Christchurch I would be hard pressed to say it was not almost love at first sight for sure!
