Not long after the dust had settled from round 2, we quickly went to work fitting a new braking system featuring a custom twin caliper set up from SR Autobodies and custom HEL Performance braided brake lines which now run inside the car.

Since the dust settled at round 1 I have been working behind the scenes to improve the car as much as possible. We discovered a leaking brake line from the hydro which was causing loss of pressure in the rear brakes. This was swiftly sorted thanks to a spanner check.

Driftcup Round 2 at Three Sisters Race Circuit in Wigan was going to be tough for many of the drivers, myself included, as it hasn’t been used for competition in the last year or two along with the fact that it has recently been resurfaced.
King Of The Ring: Round 2 – Jon Hudd
After a difficult start to the season in Round 1, I had lots of repairs to do. The crash had caused significant damage to the front end. I only had 1.5 weeks to get the car prepared for the next practice session. I worked on the car every night and all weekend, finishing it the night before.

Round 2 was incredible, the car had come back from Garage-D a few days before the event with a new alignment so the practice say was going to be a huge help as I got used to the changes on the car.
