ROUSH Performance Motorsports: On the Grid Across the U.S.

ROUSH will field NASCAR Xfinity, drag, drift and road racing programs for the 2016 season

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MICH. (February 16, 2016) — From Long Beach to Austin to Daytona, race teams backed by ROUSH Performance are ready to tear into this year’s season. ROUSH Performance will sponsor racing efforts that span the gamut from road racing to drag racing to NASCAR to drifting.

“Our company was founded on a passion for performance,” said Jack Roush Jr., race car driver and brand manager for ROUSH Performance. “What better way to showcase this passion and capability than to put ourselves to the test across vastly different forms of racing.”

Ready for NASCAR’S Green Flag
ROUSH Performance teams up with Darrell (Bubba) Wallace Jr. this year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series beginning with the season-opener in Daytona. Wallace, 22, was named to Ebony magazine’s 2015 Power 100 and listed in Forbes magazine’s 30 Under 30 Sports list in 2014. 

In his Xfinity Series rookie season, Wallace drove his Ford Mustang to a seventh-place finish in the point standings. “It’s all about execution this year,” Wallace said. “We will work hard and be sure to put ourselves in position each and every weekend.”

Pawlak to Push Drifting’s Limits
Justin Pawlak will fly the ROUSH Performance flag in drifting’s Formula D series. Pawlak is counting on his aggressive but smooth driving style to put him at the top this season, which opens in Long Beach on April 8.

2008 Clipping Point: Justin T. Pawlak

This year, we’ve decided to find one driver at each Formula D event who catches our eye to interview and spotlight in our ‘clipping points’ series. We first spotted Justin Pawlak at some local Drift Day events in Southern California in 2006, and have followed him closely as he rose through the FD ProAm system and into NOPI Drift and now Formula Drift competition. At his first event, he surprised many by hitting top 16, something that even last year’s rookie-of-the-year Darren McNamara couldn’t accomplish! Justin had some very insightful comments, and we think he’ll be very successful in the coming season.

Ford Continues Support of Formula DRIFT with Mustang Teams Running in Top-10

    Long Beach, Calif. – July 15, 2014 –  – Following success in the first four Formula DRIFT events of the 2014 season, Ford Motor Company is leading the points in the manufacturer’s standings through the efforts of Mustang drivers Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Justin Pawlak, ranked third and sixth, respectively, in the driver’s championship. Gittin Jr. and Pawlak will compete in customized Ford Mustangs in Monroe, Washington, this weekend, July 18-19, in round five of the seven-event series.

Team Falken Stands in 5th Place with Justin Pawlak in Formula D Championship

BRASELTON, GA – Team Falken, a two-time manufacturer’s champion in Formula Drift, keeps applying pressure to its competition, and after Round 2 at Road Atlanta, has Falken team member Justin Pawlak in 5th place overall.

Though eventual event winner Vaughn Gittin, Jr., defeated Pawlak in the Top 16 Round, the match between the two was deemed the “battle of the weekend” as the drivers went through two hard-fought “One More Time” rounds just as rain blanketed the track.
